KUROO'S P.O.V.
Kenma hands me my Bluetooth just outside our four-person apartment as a worried look spreads across his face.
"Good luck," he whispers.
"Don't worry 'bout this so much," I sigh. "We'll be in and out."
"I guess so... But if this goes bad we can always just meet up in Greece like we always wanted," he replies with the tiniest of grins curling the side of his lips upwards.
"Yeah, wouldn't that be nice," I smirk. "I'll try to get as much cash as possible today for that dream to come true."
Kenma nods quietly, but just then, Bokuto and Akaashi step out of the apartment and nod to me, indicating that they're ready to go. "Alright," Akaashi says with a straight face, "let's go."
After a quick goodbye, the three of us get in Bokuto's car and drive off, leaving Kenma behind at home for the important computer job that he's got ahead of himself.
"Yo, when do you plan on getting the stickers removed from your windows, dude?" I ask as I look around at the neon signs stuck to his car.
"It's fine," he declares as he dismisses my question. "They're good actually, 'cause then nobody will suspect this car is mine!"
Akaashi rolls his eyes at Bokuto's idiotic response. "It's gonna get towed one of these days, stupid. It says it's abandoned!"
"I'll keep moving it! It's fine, don't worry about my car, you guys!" he adds a bit more defensively this time.
Once we've gotten near our destination, Bokuto parks down an alleyway off of the main street. The three of us all quickly pull our black ski masks over our heads and grab our weapons. Of course, it's my turn with the shitty ass bat compared to Akaashi's machete and Bokuto's BB gun. Yeah, we're not using the real gun that's stored somewhere for safekeeping should there be an emergency, but we can still do some serious damage if we need to.
When we're ready, we all jump out of the car. Bokuto tosses his keys under the car as is part of our emergency protocol before we all dash down the street towards the nearby bank. "We'll empty all the registers and get the hell out! Let's make this quick, guys! Kuroo, let us know if Kenma sees anything on the cameras!"
"Got it," I shout, just before bursting open the bank doors.
"Hands up!" Bokuto shouts as he points the gun to a nearby civilian, "Gettem up!"
Immediately, the room breaks out in a panic.
"Get on the ground and we won't hurt you!" Akaashi yells as he points his machete dead ahead.
I walk towards the bank tellers in the center and hold my bat to the glass that separates me from them. "Empty the register for me, will ya?" I smirk as I watch the panic grow in their eyes quite satisfyingly.
"Empty all the goddamn registers!" Bokuto shouts, waving his real-looking gun around like a madman.
"No fucking way!" one of the tellers snaps back. "All we need to do is wait for the cops to come! We're not giving you shit!"
Akaashi grabs a civilian by the neck and holds his machete against their neck. "How about now?" he scoffs.
The teller's eyes widen as they hold up their hands beside their head. "Okay, okay, don't hurt anyone!"
"Now hurry up!" Akaashi continues to shout before whispering to you that they probably triggered some kind of silent alarm.
"You heard him!" I continue.
"Nothing yet," I hear Kenma through the Bluetooth. "Don't see anything on the street cams."
"Where's the back entrance?!" Akaashi then asks another teller who nervously points to the backside of the bank.
"It- it's just the emergency exit! Please don't kill me!"
"We'll go out that way," Akaashi nods to Bokuto.
"Shit," Kenma's voice curses. "Hurry the hell up. I've spotted something about a mile away!"
I then begin to gather bags of cash from the tellers and toss them one by one over to Bokuto and Akaashi. Once we're done, I follow them right across the bank towards the back entrance. However, the second we get out there, two cops are standing right in front of us with guns pointed at our heads.
Akaashi's quick and slices one of the cop's hands right off, forcing his gun to fall to the ground. As for Bokuto, the other cop works faster and forces Bokuto up against the wall.
"Shit," I mutter as I run back through the bank, remembering Bokuto's real gun hidden in the trunk of his car. Thinking that if I could get to it fast enough I could save my friends, I decide to go for it. I drop the bags of cash I stole and reach for the car keys underneath to pop open the trunk. I work quickly as I dig through all of the mess in the car to find the weapon.
"What's going on?!" Kenma asks. "Why are you doing that?!"
"Stop spying on me!" I huff as I push mounds of garbage out of my way. "Everything's fine, I'm dealing with it!"
Finally, I find the weapon. However, when I get back to the scene, I find Bokuto being restrained against the police car and Akaashi reluctantly cooperating. I'm certain Akaashi doesn't want to leave his best friend behind, so he's willing to stick with him even if it gets him in even deeper shit than he's already in.
"The hell am I gonna do?" I whisper to myself, knowing that if I go over there they'll arrest me, too.
"Get the hell out of there, are you fucking kidding me! We can post their bail with the cash we got! Get out now!" Kenma's voice booms louder than I've ever heard him speak in my ear.
"Fuck," I curse as I run back towards Bokuto's car. I throw the bags of cash into the trunk before getting into the driver's seat and punching the steering wheel.
"Get out of there, they're coming!" Kenma tells me.
"Shut up, dammit!" I shout as I throw the Bluetooth into the cupholder. I turn on the car, waiting a moment as it hesitates to start. But when it does, I hit the gas hard and rush right out of there.
That's when I hear the most alarming thing all day- I hear a girl's voice shriek and see a girl about my age in the back seat of the car with a disturbed look on her face. The hell does she expect?! She's the one that got into a stranger's car!
