"I regret it ! I regret breaking up with you , letting you go . I miss you . why can't you just come back ? I miss sharing my day with you . I miss admiring you while you kept on rambling about your day . Was whatever we had between us not enough to make you stay ? huh? "

"And cut! "the director said as one of my staff comes to clean my face while the other one hands me a watter bottle .

"Good work karan , it's a wrap for today " he says to me and then turns around to announce to everybody "pack up guys"

I release a relieved sigh as he said that . We had been shooting from 10 last night and now it was 7 in the morning .
It was getting really difficult for me to keep my eyes open .

One reason was ofcourse sleep , another was , well, those dialogues really hit home . It felt like it was me and not the character speaking . No matter how much hard i try something or the other keeps on reminding me of her

I step in my vanity along with omi , my manager. "Tell parvez to keep the car ready . I'll just change and come " I said to omi as i took my casuals out to go to change . It had been a long day for me

Touchwood I am at the peak of my career right now . I am getting back to back offers after my project , it happened in calcutta with balaji . People had loved me and my character and i couldn't be more grateful .

I open the car window and let the breeze hit me as parvez starts driving

"When is the shoot for this series ending Omi? " I asked omi .

I badly want to plan a vacation . All the hectic schedule has taken a toll on me . I need sleep and to relax myself a little after weeks of work

"One week bhai " My team is more like my family . We tease each other , laugh and chill together , and deal with all the things together . I have been extremely grateful to have them as my family after my parents and siblings .

"Good , do not schedule anything after that " I reply to Omi as the car stops at my house . I step outside and greet the guard with a smile who returns the same gesture back .

I open the door of my flat only to see my mother sitting on the couch engrossed in watching television. I knew she would be awake and waiting .
What would i do without her !

She wakes up so early just to make sure i eat something before i go to bed . I am now tired of telling her to stop waking up early and waiting for me .But she doen't listen .

Indian moms !

I close the door behind me and go ahead to give her a side hug . She is surprised at first but then she relaxes and smiles at me .

"Achha hua time se agaya , maine abhi abhi nashta banaya hai. Jaa fresh hoja , mai garam garam khana lagati hu " mom said as she got up to go to kitchen

I shake my head smilingly at her and then proceed to my room to freshen up

I sit at the dining table eating aloo ke parathe mom made . I am telling you if there's anything that makes a punjabi happy that would be parathas in breakfast . I enjoy it with my first love , chai .

My mom is sat infront of me and has been staring at me for a while . By the look on her face i know she wants to say something . so i ask her instead ,

" Mom do you want to say something ? "

My mom looks at me like she is caught red handed but then she knows i can understand her so well so she isn't surprised that i asked her that

" Nothing i was just wondering when is your series going to release ? i am so excited to see you on the screen . Also that girl , what's her name , ahhh

"Rashmi " i provide her with the name of my current costar

"yes rashmi , such a beautiful girl she is ! i can't wait "

i just chuckle at her excitement and then tell her

" it's gonna go on air from next week , by the time the shoot will also end . So i'll watch it along with you "
i try to tease her .

"Hain ! sachhi ? " she asked me with raised eyebrows

i laugh at her face reply " Nahi mamma , mazaak kar raha hu " i said as i get up to put the empty plate in the sink .

i go back to my room to sleep after informing my mom and telling her to catch a nap as well .
