The race was starting in a few minutes and the girls finally left, the boys were walking towards my car while I sat on the hood with Jake standing between my legs
"Who wants to compete?" I asked, They all looked around before saying "me" at the same time. We burst out laughing before a voice spoke through the speakers
"May All participants line up at the starting line, the race starts in 5 minutes"
"See you all at the finish line" I said jumping off the hood, the boys went back to there cars as I entered mine, I drove upto the starting line only to have my door open. Caiden got in and sat next to me in the passengers seat
"Is this your favorite car?" He asked
"Yeah, it's weird but I think I have some soft of connection to it, when I first saw it I bought it right away but I felt like there was reason too it" I replied
"Hah" hah?, what's with his reaction
"When you were little we use to talk about this car alot, we both decided it was our dream car and that we'd buy it when we grow up, I'm glad you completed our dream and when I first saw it I was stunned that you brought one that's why I never gave a reaction, because I was to deep in thought about it" after he explained I felt a tear slip
I reached over and hugged him "I guess I found my reason" he chuckled and I sat back down
"Can I ride with you?" He asked
"Ofcourse, after all this is our car" he smiled and put his seat belt on before looking towards the road
A skinny blonde girl came in front of our cars with a flag getting ready to count down "Ready" My engine roared as she was looking around "Set" By now everyone was ready to speed for the finish line "Go!"
I pushed the pedal and felt my car throw us fowards, I came in line with Giovanni on my side and Ryan on the other, I waved as they smirked and zoomed past me
"Hmm, hold on!" I told Caiden, He nodded in response as I put more pressure on the engine and caught up to Gio and Ryan, I smiled and drifted, I saw the starting line up ahead And drifted once more but stopped 90 degrees in, I reversed and watched as my cousins faces grew shocked with me facing them and crossing the finish line
"And the winner appears to be Ace?, Ace all the way from los angeles" cheers were heard by people in the crowd, all the cars came to a stop and I looked over to see Caiden smiling
My brothers, cousins and the boys all made there way towards my car as me and Caiden got out
"Sh*t that was Awesome" Caiden said, I turned to Ryan and Gio who were smirking
