"Urghhhhh!"

Luz gave a long groan while holding and scratching her head as if she couldn't get something out, making her hair turn all messy. Didn't end at that, she started rolling around and kicking her legs violently.

"Isn't it rare, to see you this furious." Her girlfriend had been sitting near there and witnessing all those irate but confusing behaviors, she raised her voice with a little concern.

"I! Am! Human! After all!" Luz screamed, hugging her stomach. She didn't know why whenever she started getting anxious or overwhelmed with a strong feeling, there would always be some ache that started kicking on her stomach and it was not pleasant at all. She crouched down so she could hold herself.

Amity smiled between an understanding sigh before she went to sit down next to her loved one and patted her on the head. She asked, caringly.

"Do you want something to drink? Warm? Cold? Or do you want to eat something, I heard a full stomach could solve everything."

"...And isn't it rare, to see you not going 'Who made you mad? What made you mad? I'm eliminating it!' " The human playfully commented, surprise at how calm her protective girlfriend was.

The purple hair witch grew a big smug grin "Learning to keep a cooler head. Beside, I know you don't like me treating others like that even when you are mad at them."

"That's true..." Luz sighed when she fell down on Amity's lap with a dry sniff, allowed her lover to stroke her messy brown hair back to its style. "It's just, frustrated, you know, not about the problem, but about my own anger."

"Hm, when I'm angry I will just punch the source that caused me to be angry. So I never really have any problem with that. After punching them I just thought, 'Heh, actually, this is not worth' so my anger kinda died along with that pers-that moment." Amity shrugged her shoulders.

"You...really..." Luz sweated a little at how savage her girlfriend was, somehow she felt so lucky to be the only one who was treated this specially sweet by the girl who was so ready to have you dissected if you dared mess around with her, that was when an old story struck back, making Luz shiver with the thought. Shaking her head to get rid of that memory, Luz tried to make her nameless frustration out.

"I'm just...afraid of my own self whenever anger strikes me you know, it doesn't feel like myself. I hate how I act when I'm at this state, all the negative thoughts I can hold, and I hate it even more when I'm back to my cool." Pausing a bit to arrange her messy thoughts, the human continued her vent "I've been learning to understand so many feelings, but not anger. I always deny going all out and getting mad at someone, yelling at their face, or starting to throw my temper on something. The energy it brought scares me..."

Only when Luz seemed to have finished her talk and went back being silent for a while did Amity started talking.

"But trying to hold it in would only makes it worse, no? lt's not solved, you know, you just bury it away, it's still under your ground. You can control yourself for a moment but I'm not sure if you can when the madness is stacked through time and you can't balance on a normal flat ground anymore."

"Don't worry! I will just punch and scream into my pillow, that's my limit." Luz turned to whispers to the pillow. "Sorry~"

"Pillow is good but, wanna try letting it out for real for once?" She didn't know why she suggested that, Amity thought. It wasn't that she supported violence, but she surely loved the feeling of taking control, of when she held all her rage into her grip and broke it like it was just a mere crispy cookie.

"Noooo, I don't want to hurt anyone, or anything!" Luz put her hood on and bawled, hands holding her feet.

The witch raised her hand in front of Luz's confused face "Here, try punching this."

"Whattttt, how can I punch that cute little handdddd, wahhhh." Oh Titan, just from the thought of hurting her girlfriend made Luz want to punch herself. There was no way on earth and on Boiling Isles that she would lay a finger on her precious goddess!

"How about this?"

Amity then formed a huge and terrifying abomination hand, which caused Luz to jump backward a little, but maybe, maybe she kinda wanted to try, Luz admitted in her unsure head.

"...Allllright, that looks like something I can cope with."

At first, Luz still hesitated and started thumping very light, then slowly, the strikes got stronger and harder, but with every punch she made, Luz somehow felt like she was also hitting herself. It did feel a bit relieved, but at the same time, it hurted. She hit the abomination hand until the strikes got slower and weaker again, then her head fell on Amity's chest and she broke into tears.

"I don't like thisssss"

Luz sobbed like a child. Amity returned her hand back to normal so she could hold Luz's head with both her hands, gently caress it and not forgetting to place on it a quiet kiss. She just held Luz like that for awhile and let Luz cry all she wanted, her shirt was getting wet but she didn't mind. They kept it like that until there were only little hiccups left, and Luz, maybe getting a bit tired from all that crying, let all her weight fall on her girlfriend. Amity kissed Luz's head again before she started talking.

"...I forgot crying was a way too. Not everyone deals with one feeling with the same way. How are you feeling now?" The witch looked down to cup Luz's flushed cheeks.

Luz's eyes were all red and swollen, maybe talking was a bit too much that time so she just nodded and smiled in between the sniffs.

"I can still eliminate that source if you haven't felt better you know?"

Luz started giggling and shaking her head constantly, Amity was still one hella protective girlfriend and Luz couldn't deny that sometimes she actually enjoyed the feeling of being coddled like this. Amity smiled gently, knowing that was just how her human was, running around taking it on people, or things, couldn't be a way for someone this sweet. How should she treat a sweet person's anger? She wondered.

"What do you say about...dairy free Eggnog?"

Luz could finally hold her voice, she let out a breathy laugh, her mind felt a bit clearer, like the sky after storm.

"That would do!"
