-Amira's pov-

My head slumped into my palm as I held back a yawn, Andres had been rambling about something for what felt like hours. But in reality we hadn't even ordered food yet.

"Hey, Andres," I placed my hand on his hoping to cut him off.

"Hm?"

"I have an idea," I smirked. His face scrunched sceptically at me, "yes?"

"You'll see," I snatched his wrist and dragged him out of the restaurant. If I was going to hang out with Andres, I was going to have fun with it.

"Uh, where are we going? Heh," he spoke nervously as I dragged him down the street, earning a couple of confused looks as we manoeuvred past people.

I giggled but didn't answer him, which only made him tense up out of pure trepidation.

"Please don't murder me, I haven't even gotten my test results back! I'm telling you I did way better than usua-"

"Don't worry!" I laughed at his reaction, "I'm not murdering you, yet."

"Wait, what-"

"I'm joking, or am I?"

"You... are? Hopefully," he smiled awkwardly as he stumbled through the many trees trying to keep up with my pace. I was taking him through the forest, which is exactly why he assumed I might possibly be committing homicide.

"And~... We're here!" I proclaimed proudly as I put my hands on my hips. His jaw dropped.

Directly ahead was a glistening river, the serene whispers of the water streaming was comforting. The smooth blades of grass tickling at my bare feet as I threw my sandals to the side. The faint wind swirled around the scenery, for a moment I'd almost forgotten how hot the weather was. Señora Pepa must be in a great mood.

"This is wonderful but what are we do- oh," he pursed his lips when he noticed me stepping into the water.

"Are you coming? Or, just going to stand there under the sun?" I ask sarcastically.

"Seriously? This is a new shirt!" He groans, flailing his arms around dramatically. I splash him, he freezes and angrily glares at me.

I laugh when he runs into the water to get back at me, "you will not get away with that!"

"Stay away!" I burst out into a hysterical laughter as I try to get away, the water pressure working against me. I topple face first into the water, soaking my entire body.

I hug my stomach as I roll over, the river water dripping off my dangling jaw.

"PFFT!" He falls backwards, mouth wide open while he chortles with me.

I accidentally snort and my eyes widened, I slap a hand over my face before we both start cackling uncontrollably once more.

"Ya know, I used to come here with my older sister," he giggles once we've calmed down more.

"I didn't know you had an older sister?" I leaned over curiously, still smirking.

"Well, I don't anymore..." he fiddled with the hem of his shirt.

"Oh!" I gasped, my jaw dropping. This was new, I hadn't yet learnt anything about him so this came out of practically nowhere. Feeling stupid, "I'm so sorry, that's devastating..."

"It's been a while, I've mourned her already," he chuckles in an attempt to brighten the mood again, as it had sort of desolated within seconds.

"I know how it feels..." I whisper faintly while playfully swirling my finger around the water.
