I was glad Hayley and I had made up. I had realized I was a huge asshole for treating her like that, so I decided to make her breakfast to apologize. Thank god it worked.

It was nice seeing Hayley smile again. I hadn't seen her smile in so long, it was a nice thing to see directed at me again. It felt like old times.

My wolf felt really happy whenever I was with Hayley. With Bella it was usually just quiet, not saying anything, but just quietly wanting Hayley. It was confusing me.

After all, my wolf was the one that recognized Bella as our mate first. Now that I think about it, my wolf was a little reluctant to admit it. My wolf had wanted me to reject her right away, but I didn't. I wasn't going to be an asshole like Tyler and Joel.

Brooke came in, and we all hung out for a little bit. I almost forgot about my persistent mate when my phone buzzed and lit up with a text from her.

Remember the garden party is at 1. Can't wait to c u ;) <3

My wolf sighed, and I looked at Brooke and Hayley, sighing as well. "I would love to just spend the day with you guys and hang out, but I have to go to this garden party thing with Bella to celebrate her finding her mate and all."

"Can't you have a plus one or something?" Brooke asked.

I thought for a moment and texted Bella back, asking if I could bring Hayley, Brooke, and Josh. She texted back yes, but we had to be there an hour early then.

"You guys can come, we just have to be there by twelve," I said.

"I'll be ready by ten thirty," Brooke said and dragged Hayley out of the room.

My wolf protested, wanting to spend more time with Hayley, then scolding me that I couldn't. It was my fault we hadn't been able to spend more time with Hayley. My wolf wasn't too happy with me.

I got ready quickly. I put on jeans, a blue striped button up shirt with a few buttons undone and the sleeves rolled up to my elbows, and my hair messy.

I walked out of the room and bumped into Hayley, who looked gorgeous. My eyes roamed her body hungrily, taking in her ripped jeans and flowy white shirt that showed off her curves.

My wolf wanted to drag her into the room and continue what we had done the first night here, but I reminded him of Bella. We couldn't cheat on her. We aren't that kind of person.

"You look nice," I said, snapping out of my trance.

"Thanks, you too," Hayley said, snapping out of hers as well.

We went to the garden party, and as soon as I walked in Bella dragged me away to meet her pack. They gave me cautious looks, and I didn't blame them. I was a werewolf in unclaimed territory and not with a pack. I would be suspicious too.

About halfway through the party, stuff happened. Stuff got spilled on Hayley's shirt, and the band quit or something.

"Liam, do something," Bella whined.

"Brooke can sing," I said, giving her a pleading look.

"Please, I'll love you forever," Bella begged.

Hayley and Josh growled at that, not that I blame them. They were both very protective over Brooke.

"Fine, but Hayley's singing with me too," Brooke said.

"I would, but my shirts ruined so," Hayley said, trying to get out of it.

"You can have mine," I said, taking off my shirt and handing it to her. I winked as I put on a regular shirt I brought with me.
