Mikaela hides behind Sam, the trio slowly walking up the little hill, (Y/n) walking before the two, locking eyes with the being in front of them first. "What is it?" The formerly yellow striped Camaro walked closer to the teenagers, retracting it's gun back to it's hand. "It's a robot." Sam answered, not moving his eyes from his car. "But like a, like a different. You know, like a super- advanced robot." He paused for a second, moving his head towards Mikaela, however not moving his eyes from the being. "Probably Japanese, It's definitely Japanese." He glanced at Mikaela, before looking back. "Doubt it, humans are smart but to stupid for that... I hope." (Y/n) had stopped at the top of the little hill, looking back at her brother and his crush shortly before looking back at their savior, who had stopped in his tracks, also on top of the little hill but a dozen of meters away from the girl. Mikaela stopped, watching Sam walk towards the robot. "What are you doing?" "I don't think it wants to hurt us. It would have done that already." Mikaela scoffed, throwing her arms up in exaggeration. "Really, well do you speak robot?" She questioned, clearly annoyed and scared by the entire situation. Meanwhile the yellow bot had placed its hands on it's hips, watching the three conversate.
"Because they just had, like, a giant droid deathmatch." Sam shook his head, (Y/n) just looked down at them, raising an eyebrow. "I would've been dead by now if that was the case." "I think it wants something from me." Mikaela looked at the boy in confusion, while (y/n) finally understood why their car would protect them. "What?" For (Y/n) everything finally sunk in, why Bobby had never seen the car, the noise that ruined the other cars, the chase, and now. The car had chosen them because of the item Sam had. "Well, cause the other one was talking about my eBay page." Mikaela blinked a couple of times, weirded out by it all. "You are the strangest boy. I have ever met." (Y/n) smiled, biting back her come-back as it wasn't the time to joke around. "Can you talk?" She snapped back from her thoughts and jumped as her brother was now next to her. "XM Satellite Radio...Digital cable brings you...Columbia Broadcasting system." Sam took another step closer. "So you talk through the radio?" The bot started clapping, making Sam jump back in the slightest, startled by the sudden action. The bot pointed at him as he started to speak again. "Thank you, you're beautiful, you're wonderful, you're wonderful." He pointed towards Sam, who didn't waste another second and continued questioning him. "So, what was that last night, what was that?" (Y/N) looked behind her, checking up on Mikaela to see her walking towards them, and stepped closer to the bot as well. "Message from Starfleet, Captain... Throughout the inanimate vastness of space... Angels will rain down like visitors from heaven, Hallelujah!" (Y/n) raised an eyebrow. "So you asked for back up." Another thought popped up, repeating the memory of the other bot cornering her brother on the car in her head. "Or did you inform your leader that you found Sam?" The Camaro turned to the teen, now pointing at her with a nod. "Clever girl... both are correct!" Mikaela glanced between the twins before asking her question. "What are you, like, an alien or something?" His head turned to the other girl, pointing at her before transforming back to a Camaro. "Any more questions you want to ask?" The bot questioned before opening both doors. Unlike her brother and friend (Y/n) didn't waste another second and walked towards the car. "If you don't mind me asking, where are you from?" The Camaro threw his driver seat forward for her to get in the back the second she reached the door. "Cyber...tron." He responded, making the girl look back at the radio for a second, it didn't sound as excited as before, sadness lingered in it's answer. She climbed onto the back seat and watched as the driver's seat slowly went back. "Sounds lovely." She didn't get an answer back, making her worry. The short awkward tension was cut short as Mikaela joined her in the back, Sam quickly sitting down in the passenger's seat.
"My purse!" It took everything in (Y/n) not to scoff or roll her eyes. The Camaro stopped slowly, giving Sam the opportunity to get out and let Mikaela slip out from the backseat. After she got her bag and she and Sam got in, the trip continued. The Camaro drove calmly back to the roads, leaving the junkyard far behind them. (Y/n) leaned back in the seat, looking outside as they passed buildings. Exhaustion kicked in, making her struggle to stay awake as the sound of the car's engines and the rhythm of the car itself were close to lulling her to sleep. Mikaela leaned forward, resting her arms on the two seats. "This car's a pretty good driver." Sam awkwardly looked around the car, clearly searching for words. "I know, Why don't you go sit in that seat, there?" He suggested, glancing between the seat and Mikaela. "I'm not going to sit in that seat, he's driving." She answered, not taking her eyes off the road in front of her. (Y/n) rolled her eyes, watching the scene happen in front of her. "Yeah, you're right." He paused and (Y/n) could tell he was going to say something stupid seeing the expression on his face as he turned back to his crush. "Well, maybe you should sit on my lap." 'Called it.' For the first time after getting in the Camaro, Mikaela spared Sam a look, raising an eyebrow. "Why?" "Well, I have the only seat belt here. You know, safety first." He stammered. (Y/n) scoffed silently, both surprised and impressed by her brothers' boldness. She contemplated it, before glancing at the other teen in the back. "What about (Y/n)." The younger twin looked at the brunette and shrugged. "Not gonna sit in his lap or drivers' seat, just let me perish." A weird sound of disbelief escaped Sam's throat. "All right then." "Right?" Sam questioned, surprised that Mikaela took up on his offer. "There, see? That's better." The boy said after Mikaela sat down on his lap, leaning against him. "Okay, you know. That seat belt thing was a pretty smooth move." (Y/n) turned her head to the little window again, resisting the urge to tell them to get a room, knowing that this might be one of the only chances her brother would and could get. "Thank you." "You know what I don't understand. Why if he's supposed to be, like, this super-advanced robot, does he transform back into this piece-of-crap Camaro?" A yelp escaped (Y/n)'s mouth as the car hit the brakes, making a sharp U turn in the middle of the road. "Whoa!" He stopped, and Mikaela got the hint and got out, followed by Sam. However when (Y/n) tried to push the seat forward, it wouldn't nudge. "Oh, see no. Get... No, that doesn't work, see?" The young girl looked at her brother with worried eyes as the car continued, closing it's passenger door. "Wait, what are you doing!" (Y/n) her eyes widened as Sam and Mikaela slowly disappeared out of view. "Hold on tight... little lady." Her eyes locked onto the radio. "Why?" "Get in the... driver's seat." She didn't question it this time and quickly climbed into the driver's seat and buckled up. "Now why did I have to-." Before she could finish the sentence the car turned to its side, making her hold on to the car grab handles. "What the fuck!"
