Thus, meaning you'll lose all the history you've built.
Are you willing to pay that price, Kunikizushi?"

"Yes"

It was a late night as the young boy awakened from his slumber... His eyes fluttered open to be was greeted by a starry sky, which caused the boy to become confused. But, after a split second, realization quickly hit him, and he immediately jolted up and begin looking around frantically, before noticing that he was just sitting on grass.

The young boy paused for moment to calmed down by taking a deep breath. Feeling puzzled, he pressed his hand against his forehead and sighed, "wow, I feel like I just had a really long dream..." the boy muttered, looking left and right than at both of his hands.

"What am I doing here?" He asked himself while looking behind him and noticing a beach close by.

"Water?" The young boy questioned as he stood up and sprinted over.

Getting down on his knees, to look at the reflection of the water to see his appearance, and when he saw it, it surprised him despite he already knew how he looked like.

In the reflection of the water, the young boy had soft purple hair, and a pair of bright beautiful indigo eyes, that both glowed nicely under the moonlight. But, he had also notice that under his eyes, were red and swollen. "Was I... crying?" He questioned, leaning closer to the water—

—and indeed, the young boy was.

He could tell by his teary eyes and the uncomfortable feeling in his chest. Perhaps the long dream he had had was a nightmare? If so, it must have been a terrible nightmare. However, what disturb the boy the most, was that he couldn't remember the dream.

How odd.

Getting up from the ground again, the young boy immediately wiped his eyes with the sleeve of his dark blue kimono. "I don't feel very good" he mumbled to himself while frowning as he began walking alongside the beach.

Gazing out at the ocean that stretched far beyond Inazuma, the boy allowed his mind to wander off into his thoughts. Something didn't feel right and he knew that, but he didn't know what it was. It felt as if something was missing, like something was gone. And it bothered him more than imagined.

What was missing?

The young boy couldn't help but question why he felt this way, but he was convinced that soon enough, it would go away...

After what seemed like almost half an hour of walking along the beach, the young boy had stumble upon a small island which many peoples gather on to celebrate what seemed like a festival. Many lights illuminated the area, and it seemed that the citizens gathered there were having a good time.

Thus, feeling drawn towards it's bright colours, and stands, the young boy felt intrigued to approached closer to the island.

However, despite the excitement he had felt, the moment he stepped onto the island— the happy emotions he felt quickly changed as he heard a faint voice of someone calling his name, Kunikizushi. He heard a young girl say. But when he looked back, there was no one there.

Had it just been a hallucination?

Again, the young boy didn't feel good, and he immediately went to cover his mouth. Something was throwing him off and he didn't know what it was. Ever since he had awoken from his nap, nothing seemed right. Did sleeping outdoors in the open cause him to catch a cold?

No, that didn't seem right.

The young boy went to sit down on a near by bench to recover his strength. He leaned back against the seat and looked up at the sky. "You can't see the stars from here." Kunikizushi whispered to himself as he began kicking his feet. Perhaps it was a mistake to come to this festival, the boy thought to himself.

It was a human celebration after all. "Creatures" like him weren't welcome to such events.

Kunikizushi sighed as he stopped kicking his feet and looked down at the ground, frowning. Though nothing but laughter and excitement surrounded the lone boy, he couldn't help but feel upset.

"Here," Someone said as they placed a fox mask onto the young boys face, surprising him.

He looked up to see a young girl who had a comforting smile rested on her face, and for reasons he couldn't understand, the presence of this stranger made his chest feel lighter in such a way that it confused Kunikizushi.

Why?

He tilted his head at the young girl who was standing before him with a big smile on her lips. "This is for you!" She explained, and he quickly realized that the mask that she had placed on his face was a gift, shocking him even more to widen his eyes. "...Thanks" he mumbled, dumbfounded but slowly moved his hand to gently touch the mask.

"Let's go play at the festival together!" The young girl blurt out. "W—" However, before the boy could speak or protest against it, she had already took Kunikizushi's hand and begun running towards the stands.

Kunikizushi squinted as the bright lights that illuminated at the festival blinded him for a split second.

But, when he saw the pure smile rested on the girls face, he couldn't help but follow- and allow himself to be dragged towards whatever direction she had desired...

Now history will repeat itself.
