When Camilo Madrigal finally confesses his undying love towards his life long best friend, he's heartbroken when it doesn't go as planned. But the persistent boy continues on a journey to win her over, to no prevail.
After two years flies by with no...
"AMI!" I high-pitched squeal caught our attention, a blonde flash slamming straight onto Amira.
I raised an eyebrow watching the scene play. It was a girl with strawberry blonde hair, about the same height as Amira. She wore a seemingly golden, off the shoulder dress.

I guess it matched my ruana, my family didn't own the colour but it was still a little weird. As the colour wasn't popular with many townsfolk other than intricate designs on clothing.
"Happy birthday Ami!" She giggled, her dimples really showing. She beamed at Amira, her unusually pure white teeth glistening under the sun.
Huh, that smile hurts my eyes.
I didn't mean that in a bad way, but her teeth were practically radiating reflected light.
"Do you mind if I borrow your daughter for a bit?" She hopefully asked me. I shrugged, plastering a fake grin on my face. Nodding, I trudged off as I heard their footsteps scrambling away.
'Sorry Milo, I'll try not to take too long," her voice echoed pity for me.
'Don't be, it's your birthday.'
'Alright, I'll see you in, uhh... not too long?'
'Mhm, love ya princesa.'
We left it there, I was now distracted by tons of townsfolk requiring my service.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE FINALLY HAVING YOUR SWEET SIXTEEN! A bit late to the party, I've been sixteen for four months," Erika smirked wryly.
"WhAtEveR."
"Oo! I got you a present! I left in in my house, wait here, I'll be back in a flash!"
As one would, I stood there awkwardly while she ran off. I glance around at my surroundings, feeling somewhat mundane.
Huh?
A group of boys catches my attention, all of them staring in what seemed like my direction. But their heads quickly swerved away as I look.
Boys are so weird.
I shrug them off when I hear Erika trying to catch her breath next to me.
"I, uh," she pauses momentarily to breath, "I got you this!" She whips out an art set, paints, pencils, brushes, and a canvas.
The second I laid my eyes on it, a gracious beam is plastered on my face. I grasp the set, studying it in amiable awe.
"Thank you so much Riri!" I snatched her up in a warm hug, "this is awesome!" I genuinely meant it.
"Okay, so this is off topic... but... you know how I've been meaning to ask Camilo Madrigal out for a couple weeks?"
