Chapter Thirty Six

"It was nice meeting you, thanks for coming," I smiled as Connor, the last person, left.

"No problem, I had a great time," he smiled, "Happy Birthday."

"Thanks, see you later," I said closing the door.

I sank down on the couch between PJ and Dan.

"Well, I just got eight new numbers," I smiled.

"See, now you can't say you don't have many friends," PJ poked me.

"I have twelve, that's good," I smiled.

"So, is Connor now your new Gay Best Friend?" PJ teased.

"No, it's Chris," I furrowed my eyebrows, "Didn't you tell him Chris?"

Chris didn't hesitate to place his hand next to PJ's crotch. We all laughed.

"But, yeah, Connor and I really hit off," I said, "We're going to do a collab some time soon. Thanks for dragging me to my own party."

"No problem babe," Dan smiled kissing my forehead.

We talked for a good thirty minutes before PJ had to leave.

"I have to go catch the train, Happy Birthday Gwen," he said ruffling my hair.

"Bye PJ," I stood up and gave him a hug, "See you later."

Chris was the next to leave.

"I have work tomorrow," he explained getting up, "Happy Birthday!"

"Thanks, bye Chris," I said, we high fived.

Then, two hours after Connor left, Phil left.

"I'm just going to let you two lovebirds do what you want," Phil teased, "Happy Birthday, Gwen."

"Thanks Phil," I smiled, "See you tomorrow."

"Use protection!" He called out as the door closed.

"Sure thing," I laughed.

Dan and I cleaned up the flat quickly, then went to my room.

"Anything you want to watch?" He asked, opening my laptop.

My breath hitched in my throat, I hadn't exited out of Tumblr.

"Uh-uh," I said dumbly, before snatching the laptop, "No... I thought we could just talk."

"What do you want to talk about?" He asked.  Dan made himself comfy while I thought.

"The future," I smiled, laying back on my bed, "What's it going be like when I finish college?"

"I think, you're going to get your own radio show, just like you've wanted," Dan said, he turned the light off and we cuddled close, "We'll still be together, and maybe we'll get a pet."

"Can we get a hamster?" I asked smirking.

"No, hamsters are evil, at least from my experience," he said, "Maybe a cat."

"Allergies," I said.

"Fine, no pets," he laughed, "Eventually, we'd get a flat together, when you're ready.  And we'd last as long as we were meant to be."

"I love you Daniel," I smiled.

"I love you too, Gwendolyn," he kissed my forehead.
