Part One

The spiritual concept of birth always amazed me as much as it confused me. But the concept of rebirth, now that was on a completely different level. I didn't get it, at all.

Drocor, my home town, here the weather couldn't get any better, dark and gloomy as per usual, did you catch that sarcasm? But today, of all days seemed to be even darker and gloomier than ever, I personally didn't even think that would be possible, but truth be told, it was. Looking out the dreary window, my internal climate channel and a hamster on a wheel for a weatherman told me that it was very likely to rain.

The clouds look like big balls of cotton just pushed together and honestly, if clouds had personalities I can imagine all the drama happening up there in the sky 'excuse me, pardon me sir, you seem to be in my wa- oh goodness gracious! Where do you think you are- excuse me!'.  Snickering to myself as my thoughts of a grey cloud with a top hat and a monocle amused me. All too soon, a snooty voice had brought me back to the wonderful world of school, Mrs. Cucumbers, I'm kidding, her name's Cumberpatch or as the way she says it 'Cumbeh-pahtch'

"Athena Jaxon! For the last time carry on from where Ethan left off!" My hazel eyes stared at her confusingly for a split second, taking note of her frustrated face wizened through years of excellence and her greying hair exasperatedly loosened from what seemed to be once a perfect bun, all in a days worth of work I suppose; before taking a glance around the classroom. Perfect. All eyes on me. Alright Athena, give it all you've got. With a mental aggravated sigh (or at least I thought it was until I saw Cucumbe- I mean Cumberpatch lift an unimpressed eyebrow at me) I began to read my lines.

"O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name. Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And I'll no longer be a Capulet." Now don't get me wrong, I love studying English literature, but it doesn't mean I like acting out a role of one of the characters from ANY piece of work, including Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

But, I guess it kind of grows on you? Okay okay, it does grow on you, I ended up memorizing the whole of Juliet's lines from the play. I smirked as I saw the impressed look on Cumberpatch's face -ah yeeahh... the dragon is at ease. Feeling an inward sense of satisfaction, I couldn't help but turn my head slightly over my shoulder to look back at Ethan, seeing his heart warming (not to forget face heating) smile.

"Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?" He thought he could catch me off guard as he continued through his role of being Romeo. What I once saw to be a charming smile turned out to be a slyly hidden mischievous smirk. Oh is that so? We'll see about that.

"'Tis but thy name that is my enemy. Thou art thyself, though not a Montague. What's Montague? It is nor hand, nor foot, nor arm, nor face, nor any other part belonging to a man. O, be some other name! What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other word would smell as sweet. So Romeo would, were he not Romeo called, retain that dear perfection which he owes without that title. Romeo, doff thy name, and for that name, which is no part of thee. Take all myself."
