'Phone call'

"Val!!". Mom yelled.

'Dammit'. i thought.

"Yeah?". I shouted back.

"Can you come here for a minute?". she asked.

"Um sure?". I said unsure.

When i walked down the stairs i saw my mom talking on the phone.

"Mum?". i said confused.

She turned around.

"Oh hi hunny". She said with a fake smile.

"Mum, whats wrong?". my eyebrows raised and my voice full of concern.

"Um can you come sit down for a sec". she said in a soft voice.

"Mom why are you upset, can you please tell me whats wrong?". I exclaimed.

"Valerie shit your ass down!!". she said a little loader.

I sat down. "now what?".

"Ok babe your nineteen, and i trust in you to watch the house and i know th-". Before she could finish the sentence i cut her off.

"Were are you going with this depressing speech i mean didnt we have this conversation when i was eightteen when i had to watch jay-". now she cut me off.

"Valerie!!". She exclaimed.

"What?".

"Shut up and let me talk!!". she yelled.

"Theres no need to yell i mean". i looked up and she was glaring.

"Ok ok". i said putting my hands up in surrender.

She cleared her throat, "anywayysss um im leaving for a few months". she murmured.

"What, i didnt hear you mum". i said.

"Im gonna be leaving for the next few months". she said rolling her eyes.

My eyes went big. "WHAT WHY!!!". I yelled.

She raised her hand and looked the other way. "one dont yell at me, and two because of my job". she said looking back at me.

"When". i said softly look down.

"In 20 minutes". she said fiddling with her hand with a sympathetic smile her voice going high.

"So im going to be here alone". i said in disbelief.

"Kinda". she said shrugging.

"Mum really!!". I exclaimed.

"Call a friend or something, but my stuff is packed and in my car so um im just gonna head to the atm and come back to give you money yeah?". She nodded.

"No". i groaned.

"Whats that?". she said with eyebrows raised.

"I said yeah". i sighed.

"Kay". she smiled.

"Whatever". i groaned rolling my eyes.

Phone rang singing 5sos what i like about you.

"Hello?". I greeted whoever was on the other line.

*nothing*

"Helloooo?". I said again, this was wasting my time.

I heard breathing.

"Uh um hi mate". wait hold up that accent sound's so familiar.

"Um hi, who are you?". I asked.

"Um jasper". they said quickly.

"Jasper doesn't have a Australian accent. Jasper was one of my bestfriends.

I heard mumbling it sounded like cal i dunno.

"Hi you have won a contest with 5sos". another voice said.

Wait OMG THIS-THIS SOUNDS LIKE

My eyes widened. 5sos contest, australian accent, calum hoods voice, this is 5sos.

"OMG OMG OMG OMG THIS FIVE SECONDS OF SUMMER ISNT IT!!!". I yelled.

"Love calm down". he said calmly.

"OH MY GOD, OH MY LORD, OH MY LLAMAS". I yelled. i literally was about to start crying.

I heard mumbling again.

"I have to go". and then the line went dead.

*dingggggg doonnggggg*

The doorbell rang.
