We were almost close to the proposal, just about five minutes away from the place.

"Hm, that's weird." Dolores says.

"What is it?" I ask.

"I can't hear Camilo or anything from here. Are you sure this is the place?"

I smiled, "yes, it is, we're very close."

We kept walking a bit until I started to see some candlelight from afar. I was getting excited and couldn't stop smiling. We finally got there and I looked at Dolores. She looked stunned by the whole thing. There were flower petals that shaped a heart on the ground and in the middle of the heart, was Mariano. I stepped out of her way and joined Camilo at his hiding place.

"I can't wait to see what her answer will be," Camilo whispered.

"Me too, but I'm sure she will say yes. I can see that they are deeply in love with each other." I smiled at the sight of Dolores and Mariano, I could feel Camilo's eyes still fixed on me. I turned to face him, "is something wrong?"

"N-no, it's just..." he hesitated, "I don't want you to leave."

I looked at his sad smile, and it broke my heart to see it.

"I-"

"Dolores," Mariano started, "I want you to know that you mean the world to me and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So..." He kneeled, "will you marry me?"

Dolores covered her mouth with both of her hands and gasped, she looked like she was about to burst into tears. But she smiled and said, "yes."

Everyone jumped out of their hiding places and started cheering.

"But!" She said, "you need to give me some time. I don't want to be pressured into getting the wedding done so soon."

Everyone stopped and looked at Mariano to see what his reaction would be but he only smiled and said, "take as much time as you need."

Everyone cheered again but not so loudly, aware of Dolores's ears. We also didn't prepare fireworks because of her gift too, but she spent the whole night smiling. I could tell that she was very happy. We prepared a table full of food to celebrate, everyone grabbed their plates and served themselves some food. I didn't feel hungry, so I just went on a hill that was close to where the proposal was. I wanted to see the stars.

I laid down on the grass and looked up at the sky. I smiled at the sight of the stars. They were so beautiful. I think about how most of the time I feel worried, but right now I only feel happy.

I sat up as I heard some footsteps, I look up to see Camilo with a plate full of food.

"Hey," he says.

"Hi," I say, "what are you doing here?"

He sits down beside me and smirks, "I could ask you the same thing. I was looking for you everywhere, I saw that you didn't get food so I brought some so we can share."

I smiled, "thanks, but I'm not really hungry right now."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

He smiled, "alright. What are you doing here?"

"Oh, I don't know. I felt like coming here to just clear my mind."

He nodded and we sat in awkward silence. I could hear the music that was playing from where the proposal happened.

I decided to break the silence, "about what you said, I need to go."

He raised an eyebrow, "what I said? I don't remember."

"You said you didn't want me to go back to my world, but I have to...besides, I have no reason to stay here."

"What if-" he hesitated, "what if I was the reason that you could stay here?"

My eyes widened, "w-what?"

"W-what I mean is...what about all of us? What about Dolores? Are you not going to attend her wedding? And what about Mirabel? You were the only person who stood up for her when no one did. A-and what about me...?" He didn't go on, he just frowned and laid down on the grass.

I did the same and looked at him, "all of you are special to me, and I hope you know that. But I have a life back there and I don't even know who's living it."

He sighed, "I guess you're right. I can't be mad at you when it's not even your fault."

I smiled, "thank you for understanding."

I looked up again and closed my eyes.

'I don't want to leave either'

We decided to go back to the proposal and everyone was dancing. I took a seat next to the table where the food was. And Camilo did the same.

We watched as the happy couple danced. I smiled at the sight.

"You're smiling a lot today," Camilo says.

I turn to him, "aren't you? After all, your sister is getting married."

"I am very happy, but I'm also happy that I get to spend time with you," he looked at the dance floor, "would you like to give me this dance, hermosa/o?"

I laughed sarcastically, "no."

"Why?" He whined.

"Because I don't want to, besides I'm getting hungry," I stood up and went to the table where the food was.

"Oh so now you're hungry," he says, annoyed.

I chuckle at his statement and grab a plate of food, I sit back down and begin to eat. Camilo was staring at me. Again. I couldn't take it anymore so I stopped in the middle of eating, "what Camilo? Why do you keep staring at me?"

He stayed silent.

"Camilo?"

He snapped back into reality, "what? Sorry I was thinking."

I sighed, "it's nothing."

And I went back to eating.

Hey everyone! Here is chapter eleven!

In this chapter, I wanted to include Camilo more because I feel like there wasn't a lot of him in the last few chapters. 🧍‍♀️ I know it's rlly short so I will try my best to make the next one longer. 🥲

But anyways, I hope you liked it!
