I looked in the mirror, struggling to get my tie right. I cursed under my breath for the umpteenth time this morning and Ashley walks over to me. He turns me around, pushes my hands out of the way and easily fixes my tie. He's dressed and ready, so is everyone else. I look at the others and see Jinxx giving me that look.
"Guys, I need to talk to Andy for a minute. Alone," Jinxx says.
They all leave and I look at him confused. He just glares at me and motions to Ashley's bed which hasn't been made. I sigh, finally understanding what he wants to talk about.
"Why the hell are you pushing Ashley away!? You know damn well that your dads murder was not his fault! And yet you ignore him for a week! Why?" Jinxx yells.
"Because.......I," I start but stop.
"Because you're scared you can't protect him, so you decide that pushing him away and eventually ending it will keep him safe?"
I nod and he sighs.
"It won't. Seth will kill him just to because he can and you know it. Stop pushing him away. You're hurting him more than you know. He's been burning himself Andy."
My head snaps up and I look at him.
"What!?"
