"What?" I mumble.
"What is this?" Camilo came beside me and looked at the vision.
I turned to Bruno, "what did you see exactly?"
"I saw you and you were in a room, suddenly, a flower grew from the ground...what was the name again? Well anyways you touched it and then you disappeared. You then appeared back but you weren't in the Encanto anymore, you were somewhere else... oh! And there was someone with you! They looked exactly like you! Then I saw Camilo calling for you desperately but you didn't answer, I don't think you could hear him..." He closed his eyes and then opened them, "oh! Tulips! That was the name of the flower that grew in your room."
My heart sank, "Tulips," I whispered to myself even though they can hear me, "one of my favorite flowers."
I smiled and turned to Bruno, "that will be all, thank you Bruno."
"Uh- you're welcome y/n." And he left.
I turned to Camilo, "we need to go back to my house quickly."
He nodded and we started heading back to my house again.
~Time skip~
"We've looked everywhere in your room y/n and there is nothing." Camilo said.
"B-but maybe there is something that we are not seeing...something," I looked around the room. He is right, there is nothing. I put my hand on my forehead and sighed, "this is so confusing. Why were you in the vision anyways? And why was there a wall between us?"
He shrugged, "I'm just as confused as you are."
I thought for a second but I couldn't get any answers.
Camilo then put his hand on my shoulder, I looked at him and he smiled, "we should go eat lunch and then you can think about it."
I smiled sadly, "okay."
-Time Skip-
I was enjoying my time with the Madrigals, but eventually my thoughts went back again to the prophecy. I looked at Camilo, he was smiling at something Dolores said. Then I saw Camilo calling for you desperately but you didn't answer, I recalled Bruno's words from earlier.
'What did he mean by that?'
Camilo turned and locked eyes with me, he smirked. I quickly turned my head, I was blushing again.
Dolores elbowed me and whispered, "I know your secret."
"W-what?" I whispered back.
She nodded, "Camilo thought that I couldn't hear him from where you two were talking, but don't worry, your secret is safe with me."
I smiled, "thank you."
"No problem."
"By the way, do you know anything about tulips?"
"Tulips? Isn't that what Bruno's vision was about?"
I nodded.
"Hmm," she hummed in thought, "I don't know anything about them besides that they are a very pretty flower—But did you see anything suspicious in your room before you went to sleep last night?"
I tried to recall last night, I went to bed and as I was closing my eyes I saw something glowing.
I gasped, "I did! But I was too focused on my thoughts that I didn't check what it was."
"Well then maybe you should look there and see if there is something of help."
I smiled, "thank you so much Dolores. You have been a big help."
"I'm glad that I helped you, but if you do find something, tell me or Camilo, I don't want you to leave yet without saying goodbye," she smiled.
I smiled back, "of course I won't."
-Time Skip-
I went back to my messy room and looked again for any clue. I checked under the bed and inside the closet but there was nothing. I saw my dresser and remembered that that's where the glowing light came from, I looked inside of the drawers and there was nothing, I pushed it to see if there was anything behind it. And there it was.
'I have never seen this before'
Hidden behind the dresser, there was a small painting of a tulip on the wall. I reached out to touch it but then remembered what Dolores said. I pushed the dresser back where it was and cleaned up my room. It was still afternoon so I just decided to go on with my day as if nothing happened, for the whole day, however, I was thinking about what I saw.
-The next day-
I was outside of the Madrigal house waiting for someone to open the door. Dolores opened it, when she saw me, she smiled, "did you find anything?"
We went inside of the Madrigal house and we went straight to Camilo's room.
"I did actually." I said.
Dolores knocked on Camilo's door and he opened it.
"Dolores? What are you- oh, hi y/n," Camilo said.
"They found something," Dolores said.
He looked at me and I nodded in response.
"Come in then," he signaled for us to enter his room.
We sat on a couch that was there.
"Tell us everything that happened," Dolores said.
I nodded, "I was looking around my room but then I remembered that the glowing light that I saw last night was coming from the dresser, so I went to look, I checked inside of the drawers but I saw nothing so I just pushed it to see if there was anything behind it. There was a small painting of a tulip on the wall."
Camilo and Dolores looked as shocked as I did when I found the tulip on the wall.
"So it was connected in some way to you." Camilo said.
"I will tell you this," Dolores started, "check behind the drawer every single day for three weeks to see if anything changes. If it doesn't, then we will just assume that the painting was already on the wall, but if it does, then there is really magic connected from this world to your world."
I nodded, "I think that's a good idea."
"Don't leave without saying goodbye y/n," Camilo said with a grin.
I laughed, "I won't. I promise."
