"My god I feel like a cup cake." I looked at myself in the mirror of a small cottage in the country.

I made it to a village where people welcomed me with open arms. I was looking for sprite and kingo last I heard they were near here.

The village here has horses and carriages that took them places. I learned so much of the advancements.

"You look beautiful cora." I turned to see the sweet beautiful woman letting me stay with her.

"Thank you miss pierce." I looked back at the mirror and we left the cottage.

"Just be lucky you weren't here in the 1690s." She laughed and took my arm.

"I told you miss pierce I'm not a witch." I giggled as we linked our arms and went to the shops.

"Oh please call me Katherine." She smiled at me. I nodded at her and I walked around a flower shop. My hands brush over the daisies.

My heart skips a beat but not in the good way. I bring my hand too the ring druig gave to me which I looped through the chain I never took off. I refuse to fully forget him because most my life he made me happy, he was my life for most of it. The only light in my life.

I turn my body away from the daisies and walk away.

"Hello miss cora care for a beverage?" A young voice answered. I quickly turn and see sprite. I run picking my dress up and hug her.

"Sprite! I knew I'd find you here! Where's kingo?" I asked looking behind her.

"He's back at our cottage! How did you find us?" Sprite asked and we walked back to the main shops.

"Well I've been traveling pretty far, miss Katherine has helped me with a place to stay but soon my 5 years are going to be up here." I take sprites hand.

"Well you're welcome to come with us! We missed you and we are heading to see sersi and ikaris soon" she smiled and went to find Katherine.

"Hello Katherine this is sprite, my little niece I told you I was looking for. I'll be staying with her for a few days but I wanted to thank you for being so welcoming." I hugged her goodbye.

"Safe travels cora." She hugged me and sprite took me to her cottage.

We entered and heard banging.

"Kingo! Look who I ran into!" Sprite had shouted and instantly took off her puffy dress showing pants and a long sleeve underneath. She sat on the couch and I followed.

"Where is druig?" She asked.

"Well he's still in the Amazon, I just really wanted to see everyone and take a break. He's doing good." I forced a smile.

"Oh well that's good. Have you seen anyone else?" She asked.

"Well gil and Thena came by, gil asked druig to put her to sleep for a bit while he took a break. Other than them you are my first." I smiled and hugged her from the side. Kingo stumbled into the room struggling with his vest knocking over a lamp.

"Woah cora.. you look like a cupcake.." he laughed and I patted my puffy dress down.

"And you look like you're struggling." I laughed and helped him with his vest.

"What brings you over?" He asked.

"Wanted to see the world." I smiled. I turned to sprite and she smiled back at me.

"Oh well we are heading to see sersi and ikaris next. Come with us I'm sure druig will be fine alone for a few more years." He said and I looked down.
