I spent some time training in private. I wanted to surprise Saber the next time we sparred by putting her advice into practice. Learn to use a sword, then learn to use my magic with it. School had ended and I decided to wait around and see if I could catch Tori Vegnac before she left school. Donatello informed me that the Vegnacs were a mage family, and there was another Master somewhere nearby to my house.

Saber: Is this efficient?

Y/N: I don't really know where to find her, so this is really all we can do. If we go search for her, then we might end up missing her.

So we waited, and waited, and waited... School had long since ended and most of the clubs were done by now. Tori was still nowhere to be found.

**Did she even come to school today?**

Y/N: There's no way we missed her... Unless she's onto us.

Saber: Do you think that plausible?

Y/N: I don't really know how this war works, but maybe. If that's the case, then, we should go straight to her house.

All of a sudden, Tori appeared making her way towards the door to leave school.

**Speak of the devil.**

Y/N: Tori!

She looked over and stopped walking.

Tori: Hey, did you need something?

Y/N: Your family are mages, right?

She thought for a moment.

Tori: Maybe once upon a time... Why?

I checked her hands from a distance and saw nothing on them.

Y/N: No reason, I'm just researching magic for myself right now and was hoping you might've been able to help. But if your family doesn't practice it anymore, then sorry for stopping you.

Tori: My parents may have some knowledge. You know, most people don't even know about mages... Are you telling me that you're one too?

**I can't tell her that. She'll be onto me if I say.**

Y/N: No, I was just talking with my friend, Artemis, here about magic earlier. She said back where she's from, she had seen somebody doing some otherworldly stuff. That's why we're looking into it to see if it's real or not.

Saber: Correct.

Tori: Oh.

I wasn't sure if she was convinced or not, but that was the best I could come up with on the spot.

Tori: Well I can reassure you, magic is real. I'll ask my family about it and get back to you some other time. I've actually got to go right now.

Y/N: Thanks, we appreciate it.

She left school and we sat back down.

Y/N: Nothing...

Saber: Do not be disheartened, master.

Y/N: What do you mean?

Saber: A Servant, through certain means, is able to manipulate their Master.

Y/N: You think she's being brainwashed?

Saber: I have no thoughts on the matter, however, it would be unwise to count her out.

**Tori does seem completely innocent, but Saber knows what she's talking about. We should keep an eye on her anyways.**

Saber: We must be careful is all I am saying.

Y/N: I agree, you're right. I've just never done something like this, so I have no idea where to go from here.
