"Why would you let her leave!" Druig yelled at ikaris after he told everyone what happened. The whole town heard the scream.
Ikaris found Cora screaming on the floor and Thena next to the deviant. Ikaris brought Cora to the domo with Ajak who healed her. She wasn't hurt physically but she healed her internally. Ajak knew she connected to the deviant. Ajak also knew the deviants where connected as one so when Cora connected to them, she felt it all, hundreds of years of the deviants dying. Each soul being killed off, each monsters pain. She knew how to put her to rest for now.
"Enough!" Ajak spoke loudly. I woke up and turned squinting my eyes since it's so bright..
"It wasn't ikaris fault. Druig calm down." I saw Ajak talking to druig who looked very upset, I turned to see ikaris upset as well. Sprite and Thena were in the argument. I sat up and faced them as Ajak continues talking. I'm trying to remember what happened. I feel numb. I don't feel
Anything
"None of this would have happened if ikaris would have kept her here safe!" Druig pointed to me and continued.
"If she doesn't wake up I swear-" ikaris interrupted druig.
"She will! The deviant didn't kill her you know how strong she is." Ikaris said and I chimed in annoyed of how long I've been sitting here and no one has looked at me.
"Yeah I'll be fine." I forced the smile.
"Not now Cora. Anyways why do you care druig!" Ikaris said and everyone looked at me after a few seconds shocked.
"Is it just me or the greetings have gone downhill?" I laughed as everyone realized I was awake. Sprite and Thena came to hug me.
"Are you doing okay?" Sprite asked
"Are you okay?" Thena looked at me holding my head in her hands.
"Oh Cora what happened? Are you still hurt?" Ikaris said coming as well followed by Ajak. Druig only looked at me. I looked at him and smiled.
"I'm okay I feel fine. My head hurts a bit but im okay. So please stop worrying I can feel it." I wince at all the flying emotions.
"Sorry!" Sprite and Thena stepped back. I smile at them but Ajak took my hands.
"Cora. What happened out there." Everyone looked at me. Phastos, kingo, and sersi joined us as well as Gilgamesh.
"Guys I'm fine really. I just, I think I felt them. Felt them all." I said looking down. My hands started to pull my power leaving a bright light showing them.
"This is what I feel right now..." the light is bright and has a pink glimmer. I see druig stare at me, then see everyone else is looking at my force.
"But.. when I was holding him, he looked into my eyes and connected us. Then I felt, this." I waved my hand up and showed the empathetic cosmic energy inside of me. It turned into a black beam with grey Smokey rings.
"I don't know what it was but it was hurting me. I'm sorry Ajak I didn't mean to connect to them. I didn't know it would hurt that bad." I apologized and as I put the dark energy back inside I winced at the pain causing druig to come to my right side and hold my hand. I look at him and looked at Ajak.
"Can it kill her." He asked Ajak in a dark tone. I looked at her. Woah kill ? Can it kill me?!
"I don't know. We will have to wait and proceed with our mission with extra caution. Some days you might have to sit out Cora, just until you recover and your force turns back." Ajak smiled. I nodded my head and let go of druig and went into my room. I closed the door and changed. I used my force that was no longer bright and opened the curtains to my window showing the bright lights of the city and shining stars. Why can't I control myself.
