Luciana Point of View:

My arms were still wrapped around him, "Don't ever leave me again", I mumbled.

"Never again", Alexander Saloman promised as he squeezed me even tighter.

Someone cleared their throat, I glared in that direction ready to kill whoever it was. Lorenzo was leaning against the doorway, a big cocky smirk obvious on his face.

"I don't give a fuck what you want", I forced myself out of Alexanders comforting hug. I grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the gym as swiftly as I could.

Soon I found ourselves back inside the dining room. My brothers were scattered about the room, they were worried. I sat back down, next to Marcello who was still seated.I made Alexander sit next to me.

"Are we still having dinner? Or did everyone decide to diet like plants do", I grumbled.

They seemed surprised at my words but they all slowly took their seats. Val noticed my hand that was bruising more and was still bloody. I shook my head at him, hoping he wouldn't say anything.

Lorenzo joined us all and took his seat. "So how do you know Alexander?", He pondered.

"Oh right, did I forget to mention that to you Lorenzo", I sneered," Well we met in none ya."

"None ya", Lorenzo questioned.

"Yeah, none ya business now fuck off Lorenzo."

He scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Hey Luciana", Leo asked me from across the table," How do you know Alexander?"

"He is an old friend now, drop the subject."

Before anymore thrilling family conversation could be had, the food was brought in by the maids. I made sure to thank them as a plate was placed in front of me.

The air was tense as we began to eat. My hand and leg were starting to ache. Lorenzo was glaring at me, probably hoping his looks could kill me. And Vince was yelling at Lorenzo for his rude looks.

The front door was slammed open harshly. The smell of strong perfume and alcohol invaded my senses, making me loose the rest of my appetite. Martino entered the room with a woman attached to his arm.

You could tell she was a gold digger. Make up was caked onto her face. Pricey jewelry was all over her.

It took all my self control not to gag at her. Martino married this woman with free will? Her eyes soon landed on me, then she glared at Lorenzo.

"Lorenzo, what have I told you about dragging skanks home?", She lectured while pointing her finger at Lorenzo. She then looked at me," How about you go to your own house now?"

I scoffed," number one, that is a new level of disgusting. Number two I would gladly go back to my house." I glanced at Vincenzo," But somebody forced me here."

I snatched Marcello's steak knife and threw it a few inches above Martino's head. The knife went into the wall.

"And thirdly, I will not miss next time", I promised.

I glanced around the room to look at everyone. Vincenzo looked proud as hell and everyone else looked pale. Lorenzo finally stopped glaring daggers at me.

Alexander grabbed my hand, pulled me out of my seat, out of the dining room, and into the hallway.

"What the actual hell was that?"He wondered as he stood in front of me, my body pressed up against the wall slightly.

"That's not how your family has dinner", I commented.

"I'm serious Luciana", He insisted, his voice stern," Where the hell did you learn to throw knives like that. I thought it was just dumb luck when you did it the first time."

I shrugged, "An old friend taught me how to throw them like that."

That wasn't a lie. An old friend did in fact teach me. Soon after I left Ms. Peter's home. I ran into him after I 'borrowed' some necessities from a convenience store.

His name is Zane. Without him, I would be a completely different person than who I am today.

"Luciana... What the hell happened to you after I left? " He questioned, his face looking sad and hurt," You're not the happy bubbly girl that I grew up with... You've gone cold."

"Let me explain something to you Alexander'', I yelled, getting in his face," When you get attached to someone and they leave something inside you break and you never get it back." I took a few breaths, taking a small break from my rambling. I was starting to lose control of my emotions. " When you are alone and you've been stabbed in the back as many times as I have, you learn not to trust anyone."

I was upset and furious. I pushed past Alexander and out of the house. My first thought was to just walk around the property until I cooled off, however I noticed the billion cars sitting in the driveway.

I got inside the car that was the closest to me, luckily the keys were inside. Once started, it roared to life. I drove off the property quickly before anyone could notice or try to stop me.

I drove around the town for a bit, trying to find somewhere interesting to hang out for a bit. A local bar had caught my attention. I parked and went inside.

The place was kind of packed. Music was blasting and people were dancing and having a great time. I went over to the bar and sat.

"What can I get for you?", The young looking bartender asked me.

"Shot of Tequila", I said.

"You look a little young to be ordering that", He muttered.

"Nope i'm of age", I told him while handing him a fifty dollar bill, "besides you look a bit young to be a bartender."

"Touche", He smiled and took the cash. He placed my shot in front of me and I downed it quickly.

"I'm shooting in the dark here, but you look like you know the city well", I began," Any chance you know where I can find some street racing?"

He hesitated for a moment before he said,"I have an idea of where one might be happening. My friend sends me clips from races that have happened under the old crossroad bridge."

"Thank you very much", I smiled, laid a ten dollar bill on the counter, and left.

When I got back into the car, I searched for the bridge on the built-in GPS. Once I found it, I quickly drove to it. As I was pulling up, a random person noticed me and waved me forward.

I had full intentions of just watching a few races, just to stay under the police's radar. However, I found myself next to another car. Once the majority of the crowd saw my car, they started to cheer loudly.

"During our final race of this evening, we have our undefeated champion Nico going up against Enzo", A loud speaker announced.

Enzo? I knew that name. Then it hit me, Lorenzo used to say that was his super secret spy codename.

Just to be sure, I opened the glovebox and looked at the papers. The registration had Lorenzo Roman boldly written on it. Of all the fucking cars for me to hijack, it had to be his.

In the corner of my eye, I saw a familiar face chatting at me through the tinted window. I shook my head slightly when I looked again, it was Nicolas Salomon. Alexander's twin.

I must have the worst luck ever.
