We finished the meeting and decided on 5 good members to join the team including Saber and that boy, Astaroth. I left the gym and caught Saber standing guard at the door.

Y/N: Ready to go?

Saber: Yes.

It was getting dark outside. We ended up staying at the school for a lot longer than anticipated because the dodgeball tournament had so many participants. Walking back home, I decided to share something new with Saber. Gum.

Y/N: Do you want to try this?

Saber: Yes. What is that?

Y/N: It's called gum. There are a whole bunch of different flavors too.

I gave her a piece and she put it in her mouth.

Y/N: What you do is you chew on it for a while and then you-

Saber: That was not very filling... May I try some more?

Y/N: Okay, hold on... Did you just swallow it?

Saber: Yes.

Y/N: Alright don't swallow it anymore. You only chew on it for a while until the flavor is gone and then you spit it out.

Saber: Spit it out? That is a rude and disrespectful notion. Why does there exist a food that is not meant to be eaten?

Y/N: Well, gum actually isn't really food or a snack... Most people just use it to make their breath smell good, and some just like the taste. As for spitting it out... Well, maybe gum isn't the best thing for you if you feel that way.

We kept walking on. Night had fallen at this point and we were walking through the dark streets lit up by streetlights.

Saber: Master...

Y/N: Hm?

After a moment, I heard a loud crash. It sounded way too close for comfort. I turned around to see what that sound was. As I did, a shadowy figure appeared behind me and thrust a blade at my head. Saber quickly, with her invisible sword, blocked the attack and made the enemy jump back.

Saber: Assassin...

**Assassin? That was one of the Servant classes, right?**

I turned and prepared to help Saber however I could. A man wearing an all-black suit and black mask stood there with a sword drawn. His hair was messy on one side and styled on the other.

Assassin: Hello, sweetheart. I'm afraid you're not the target here. Do you mind stepping aside?

Saber: What business do you have here, Assassin?

Assassin: My reputation proceeds me. I'm honored you could tell who I was. I'm under orders to take down your Master there.

He pointed his blade before he charged me but was redirected by Saber again.

Assassin: I find it offensive, but my cowardly Master has no faith that I can beat you in a fight, Saber. Is it not easier to take out the Master instead?

Saber: I will not allow you.

Assassin: Come then.

Saber and Assassin began to clash with each other. The pressure they were letting off was so heavy that I couldn't get any closer even if I wanted to. Assassin wasn't as scary as Berserker was, so I felt like I could help somehow. I heard another crashing sound in my right ear and turned to see what it was. As I did, I felt a kick fly into my left arm as I was sent across the ground and into the street. It felt like my bones broke, but I knew they were still okay. I looked up at where the kick came from and saw a man standing there.
