"It's not that he doesn't like you-" I start.

"Babe, don't worry about it. I love you and that's all that matters" He smiles. "I'm never going to hurt you ever again" I don't say anything, I just smile in response before he pulls me into a hug.

"Tell me again why my school thought it would be a good idea to have prom on a school night?" I groan. I'm not exactly a morning person these days.

"I wish I could" Matt chuckles. He lets me go and I wander over to my wardrobe. I pull out some light blue acid wash jeans along with white panties and a white bra and take them into my bathroom. I put them on, brush my teeth and walk back out into my room. Matt looks up at me and frowns. "Babe you forgot a shirt" He laughs.

"Duh" I laugh. I put my pyjama top back on and run downstairs. "Nash! I call through the house.

"What's up rubber duck?" He laughs as he meets me.

"What?" I laugh. I shake my head and get to the point. "You know that red baseball tee that I love?"

"You wanna wear it?"

"You know me too well" I smirk. He walks to the living room where all of their bags are lined up against one wall- I feel bad, they've been here so long and they've been sleeping on matresses on the floor the whole time. He goes over to one of them and unzips it, pulling out the desired shirt. He throws it at me and I run to give him a quick hug before running upstairs.

"Where'd you go?" Matt says not looking up from his phone. He's back in my bed suggled up betwen the sheets.

"I went to get a shirt" I say waving it in the air. I turn my back on him and put it on instead of my pyjama shirt. I turn back round to see Matt smiling at me.

"Sky, why do you never wear your own shirts?" He laughs. "Or my shirts"

"Because your fashion sense sucks" I giggle.

"Hurtful" He whines.

"You know I'm kidding" I smile. I grab my hairbrush and start to brush my hair looking in the mirror. I bring all my hair onto one side as I feel a pair of lips on my neck. Woah, de javu much? It also reminds me of another encounter that I never want to think about again. I flinch slightly and Matt looks at me in the mirror.

"What's wrong?"

"You flinched"

"I'm just, not ready" I say avoiding eye contact.

"Oh Sky! I wasn't implying-"

"I know you weren't. It's just after Mark-"

"Oh. I'm sorry. I'll never hurt you like that"

"I know you won't" I smile "Just give me time okay?"

"I can do that beautiful" He smirks, backing away. I finish up on my hair and gesture for Matt to follow me downstairs. We meet the boys at the kitchen table. Dad's making everyone breakfast whilst in deep conversation with Johnson. They both look up to me as I walk in.

"Hey" I smile.

"You look nice" Dad smiles.

"Jack don't you agree?" Dad interupts.

"Yeah, you look really good" Jack smiles. I roll my eyes and sit down opposite him. Dad places a plate of food in front of me and I pick up my fork, begining to push the food around my plate.

"So Sky, are you excited for your tour?" Hayes beams.

"Yeah" I shrug.

"What's wrong?" Taylor nudges me. He's currently sat to the left of me; Matt's on the right.

"Nothing" I smile fakely. I can't stop thinking about Mark. They boys think I'm over it but how could I possibly ever get over it? It's going to haunt me for the rest of my life; I know it will.

"Come with me" He says getting up. He nods to my father before walking out of the room. I get up and follow him. I meet up with him at the front door. He opens it and walks out; I watch him sit on the curb and I do the same. "Talk to me" He says staring straight ahead.

"It's nothing" I shrug.

"Sky, I'm your best friend. Tell me" He turns to me. "Please" He pleas.

I take a deep breath. "I can't stop thinking about what happened"

"I should have known it had something to do with that" He says looking to the floor. "Why didn't I know that?"

"I'm good at keeping secrets?" I try to make him feel better.

"What do I do to help you then?"

"Nothing. I have to get over it"

"You're not going to get over something like that so quickly."

"Do you feel unsafe?" He asks. I look around to the empty street.

"No. I just can't wait until I go on this tour and get as far away from here as possible"

"Away from me?"

"What? No!" I take his face in my hands. "You're the only reason I like it here. You mean so much to me- why would I throw that away?"

"I don't know- you just said-"

"I meant get away from him. I know he's locked up but he's still in the same state"

"And touring means you get further and further away right?" He smiles.

"Yeah" I smile back. "Plus, this will open so many doors for me. My future."

"I'm so proud of you" He beams "When you're famous we can do a collab yeah? You sing and I'll rap"

"Uh maybe not" I laugh. Can you blame me? You've all heard buckwild... I watch as Jake pulls up in front of us. He winds the window down and leans towards us.

"Yo Skylor!" He laughs. Taylor jokingly flicks him off and stands up. He holds his hand out and I take it as he pulls me up.

"If you start to freak out then call me. I don't care when it is or what I'm doing, I promise that I'll pick up" He beams.

"Thanks Taylor" I smile and hug him tight.

"Sky hurry up!" Jake yells out the window.

"One second!" I call, running inside. I grab my bag and bump into Matt on the way to the door. "Bye babe" I smile, kissing his cheek.

"Goodbye Beautiful" He smiles back. I run out the door and climb into Jake's car.

"Sup biatch" He laughs

"Yo hoe" I laugh back. I guess you could say that Jake and I are pretty close now- close enough to call eachother those kinds of things. It's kind of crazy really. Before magcon, I never really connected with anyone- sure I had Amy but she was 2 years older than me and I'm pretty sure she didn't even care that much about me (she did cheat with my boyfriend after all). Now I've got 6 of the best friends I could ever wish for- Matt, Taylor, Jack, Nash, Jake and Avery. None of this would ever have happened without Taylor- remind me to thank him for that one day.

"Whatcha thinking about?" Jake says snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Just about how many friends I have"

"What? So just Avery?" He laughs.

"What?" I laugh.

"You do realise that the only reason that all of us boys became friends with you in the first place is because we wanted to sleep with you? Taylor, Matt and Jack still do"

"What the hell? That's not true"

"Do you remember one of the first things I said to you?" He asks, I think back to that moment. You're hot and I'm hot so we should bang. I frown as I realise that he's right. "But hey, you must be pretty amazing to make us all stay" He smiles, trying to make it better. Do not freak out over this. It's not a big deal.

"I must be to tame you lot" I laugh along with him. He pulls up into the car park and we both climb out of the car and stroll towards the front doors.
