Kazutora looked at the people around him, especially Takemichi. It was confusing. One moment he was ditching from the lesson and one moment everything became chaotic and scary.

Another moment a pretty boy was comforting him. He didn't remember if he walked on his own here. But he was confident he was not being able to walk earlier.

He remembered he came to public school after a long time in a rehabilitation school. Ditching his class till lunch and there were thundering footsteps along with screams here and there. He was going to see what was happening so he headed out from his ditch spot.

The moment he stepped into the hallway, some scary-looking men and women growled at him. Was there some kind of performance that need this kind of make-up? When they headed towards him, his gut was telling him that they were dangerous.

The moment they approached him with a clear intent to attack him, he kept punching and kicking them but they always got back up. He tried to run away from them but they kept following him. He was getting tired to keep them away from him, avoiding their skin from touching him when he heard the fire alarm bell. Someone must have pressed it.

The scenes around him, the loud noises, the growls from the creatures around him, and the ringing in his ears were giving him a strong throwback about the situation in his house. No, that place was no home. The memories were getting stronger causing his breathing started to get faster. His eyes were unseeing.

He knew he didn't pass out but he could see nothing. All black. He barely heard some crashing around him but he couldn't see. All he felt was getting lifted from the ground, being whispered sweet nothing in his ear. Warmth enveloped him with him desperately trying to melt into the warmth.

The boy who helped him.

He didn't know he had a cute and kind junior in his school. Kazutora looked at the boy who was rubbing his friends' back soothingly with a soft smile. He weirdly felt warm after a long time.

'Thank you'

Takemichi looked around the rooftop to search for something that could help them. Even if he knew there was nothing. At least he needed to make sure of it.

Finding nothing, he looked at the others and snapped two of his fingers together, making sure their attention was on him. When he got the attention he wanted, he looked straight into each of their eyes.

"Listen, I know this is hard to accept but this is reality and to survive is our priority. That's our main goal" Takemichi held his hand out in front of him, giving them a chance to grab onto his hand.

"you can go on your own if you wish or you can follow me. But make sure to not make any loud noise. Unfortunately, those things have an incredible hearing"

If they wanted to they could go on their own, he was not going to force them to be with him. He knew he was unreliable sometimes.

Having a conversation with their eyes, Hinata, Atsushi, Takuya and Kazutora nodded at him without any hesitation. Atsushi as the head to grab Takemichi's hand. They already witnessed his survival skills earlier and if it meant that they were safe with him, they would follow him to the end.

Takemichi sighed in relief when they decided to follow him, he was not going to lose them for the second time.

He ushered them to stand up and follow him. He didn't hatch any plan yet but the most important thing they needed right now was a shelter, even if it was temporarily. That was the first rule of survival. A place to rest and he knew exactly where it was for now.
