"It's a hundred and twenty mile walk to the ocean," Bellamy smarted off to Clarke.
"Look we're wasting time," Finn said. "If he want's to stay, he can stay." Finn stormed out of the dropship, and Clarke followed.
"Bell," I sighed, looking up at him, "I know you don't want to leave, but we can't do this without you. I'm not taking their side, because I want to fight just as much as you, but I also don't want to leave you here. Those kids out there, they listen to you."
"They're lining up to go," He retorts. "They listen to you and Clarke more."
Clarke gave them an easy choice," I told him, and reached out to grasp his large hands. "But five minutes ago, they were willing to fight, and die for you. You inspire them. And I'm afraid we're gonna need that again before this day is through. Just, please, think about it." I let my hands drop from his before walking out of the dropship to go help the others.
"Hey here we go!" Miller announced as we set off to go find the ocean. I stood next to the gate to make sure everyone got out okay. There was still one person missing though. I sighed and walked back into camp to see him standing at the fire.
"We did good here, Muscles," I told him, smiling softly.
"Eighteen dead," Was his reply.
"Eighty-two alive," I countered. "We did good." He nodded and put the fire out, the same fire that once had so much joy and laughter around it, was now a pillow of smoke, rising through the air. He stood still for a moment, looking at the dropship. The same dropship that brought us down here, the same one I had been saved in, and the same one I almost dies in. I sighed and I reached out and grabbed his hand, weaving our fingers together. Together, we walked out of the gates for the last time.

Octavia had been leading the group for a while now.
"You know what I'm gonna do when I get to the beach?" Someone from up ahead asked. I think it was Miller. "I'm gonna go surfing."
"Quiet," Jasper hissed, "Keep your eyes open." They continued talking, until Octavia held her hand up, signaling for us to stop. I immediatle got my bow out, prepared to shoot. Out of nowhere, and axe head came flying towards somone, hitting him square in the face.
"Grounders!" Jasper shouted, and everyone ran back the way we came. I would have gotten trampled if it weren't for Bellamy grabbing me by the arm and keeping me in front of him.
We ushered everyone back inside the camp, sealing the gates when every last person was safe. Bellamy hopped up on a platform, gun raised, and I followed with my bow.
"Looks like you really get to use that thing ow, huh Sunshine?" Bellamy said to me as my eyes scanned the trees.
"Looks like it," I reply, smirking. Clarke came up and stood next to me. "Where are they, and why aren't they attacking?" I ask.
"Because we're doing exactly what they wanted us to do," She answered, and my eye widened.
"What are you talking about?" Bellamy questioned.
"Lincoln said the scouts would be the first to arrive," Clarke said to Finn.
"Just scouts, but we can fight our way out," Octavia replied. "That's what Lincoln would do."
"We're done doing what that Grounder would do," Bellamy got off the ledge. "We tried it, and now Jury's dead (A/N:sorry I don't know what his name was!), you wanna try it again?"
"That Grounder saved our lives," Finn told us. "I agree with Octavia. For all we know there's one scout out there."
"One scout with insanely good aim," Jasper commented.
