🌹 Before the Tragedy, they were only good friends, no romantic feelings at all
🌹 They only became close after the first victim was discovered
🌹 When Makoto became the prime suspect of the first murder, Sophie is the only person who believes he is not the culprit, and they team up during investigations and class trials
🌹 She visited his dorm to comfort him after the first trial, talk about their deceased classmates, and gave Makoto a flower
🌹 They hang out a lot during FTEs (talking about their younger siblings, baked some sweet treats together, made flower crowns)
🌹 Makoto once let it slipped that he called Sophie "His Rose", however Sophie fell in love with the nickname, so in return she called him "Her Lucky Charm"
🌹 After the 5th trial, they didn't get the chance to say "I love you" before Monokuma forcefully dragged Makoto to his unfair execution
🌹 Convinced that Makoto was truly gone, Sophie broke down into tears silently, with Kyoko comforting her
🌹 Knowing that Sophie truly loves Makoto, Kyoko rescued him on her behalf
🌹 They're finally reunited and successfully confessed their love for one another, lastly sealed it off with their first kiss
🌹 Together, they defeated the mastermind with their friends and end the killing game once and for all
