Author note: this is my most longest chapter up to date, I hope you enjoy!
???:(coms) Olivia?
Making quick work I was seen Jumping from tree top to tree top trying to keep up with something.
Olivia:(coms)yeah?
With my bow in hand, I continue to jump through the forest keeping my sights on the large gorilla grimm Beringel as it was charging through everything after being snipe by my arrows.
???: Do you still have your sights on that grimm?
Olivia: yeah, I'm following behind it waiting for it to get into position!
Let me give you a quick rundown of what's going on so you can understand why I'm chasing a gorilla. So, early this morning; despite the fact that it was awkward, my team and I walked into the auditorium and after hearing such an inspiring speech from Ozpin (not really), we were finally able to pick our very first assignment in missions unfortunately with a veteran Huntsmen. Most of the missions were simply boring for us, so we tried something a little more difficult and decided to pick up a bounty, and to our surprise, we were able to get in. Basically this giant monkey has been ravaging through the same village every week and they want it gone.
Leon:(coms) we're in position!
I grab a fire crystal turning it into an arrow before pulling it back on my bow and shot it at the ground beside the Beringel creating a small explosion that made it redirect to where my team was going to be.
Olivia:(coms) good, we'll be there any minute.
Making sure the grimm didn't run away, it was only a matter of time before we arrived at my team's location, where I saw Ophelia standing right in its path. The grimm roars as it speeds up, ready to crush the Faunus, only to have its entire body crushed to the ground. Ophelia then lifts the grimm and sends it into multiple trees before deactivating her powers. I landed next to her as the rest of my team emerged from hiding and stood behind me.
Olivia: good job, make sure not to overuse your semblance you don't want Dawn to see.
Ophelia: Yeah!
She flashes a bright smile in my direction. I only gave her a sidelong glance before proceeding to the location where the Grimm was thrown. It's peculiar. She's smiling at me, as if the drama that's been going on has nothing to do with her. We heard an ear-piercing roar from within the forest before the Beringel burst out from the tops of the trees and crashed landed in front of us, causing us to cover our faces as the grimm sent a massive dust cloud our way.
Sumia: That thing hasn't died yet?
Olivia: If it were that simple, it wouldn't be a bounty, would it?
As the dust settled, we watched as the grimm began pounding its chest before roaring. My team and I took our stances, bracing ourselves for the battle ahead.
Ophelia: he's angry!
Sumia:(smirks) why don't we calm it down!!
Sumia rushes forward, her weapon fully drawn, avoiding every attack the grimm attempted. It grew irritated, lifting both of its massive arms over his head and swinging them forward, only for Sumia to black flip away before using her semblance to stop time. She used her speed to run up the grimm's arm and leap over its head, landing on its back. She tightens both of her grips on her sword as she lifts it and begins stabbing it all over Beringel's back.
Sumia: (in the middle of stabbing) you're going to feel this one!!!!
She knew that attacking while her semblance was active would drain all of her energy, so she deactivated it, only to stab it again, causing Grimm to roar in pain as all of the strikes she applied during the time stop remained after time resumed. The grimms reaches back, ready to crush whoever is inflicting it with pain. Sumia quickly flipped out of the way and didn't notice when the grimm swung its other arm towards her, causing her to watch as she was about to be squashed, but luckily for her, the arm was engulfed in a dark shade of blue aura before crashing down to the ground, allowing the girl to land and flee to safety. She looks at her Faunus teammates who sent her nod with a smirk.
