Seeing Ashwin stretching, trying to sit upright... while Sivaangi all cuddled up over his chest...
His one hand protectively holding her close...

Ashwin shakes his head to signal a no with his pouting lips and squinting eyes that were working on opening up completely...

"Nethi full ah padicha... apde thoongita..." Ashwin said as he moved a bit for Jyo to sit beside...

"Illa... nethu thala valikudhunu sonna... adhan Paal eduthutu vandhurken... enchodane kudika sollu..." Jyo said as she leaned front and kissed her forehead...

"Nee kelamabala?" She asked as she walked to caress his hair...
Her fingers kneading his now all messy hair...

"Illa ma... inniki half day off... afternoon duty dhan... ivaluku inniki exam.. first paper...
So solli tharanum..." Ashwin said as he now opened his tired eyes wide...

"Seri Seri... romba thondharavu pannama solli kudu..." Jyo said leaving the two alone...

Ashwin... who was now quite awake saw the time...

'Late... innum padikanume iva...' He thought as he slowly leaned forward and tried waking her up...

"Ma... Padikanum la... enchiko...." Ashwin said as he rubbed her arms passing on some warmth in the cold room...

"Inniki exam eludhita... you still have two days until the next... Konjam kashta pattu padicha... kandippa top panlam... Enchiko ma..."

Yes it was tough to wake her up... when she was in deep slumber...
No one could... no one would have the heart to...
But it was just a matter of a day...

Sivaangi stirred and sat upright in sleep as she tried rubbing her eyes open...

"Good girl... indha paal... You will feel awake..." Ashwin said as he passed the glass of milk to her...

His lips which were pressed into a line seconds ago curled into a teeny smile when he saw his girl grabbing the glass with a sleepy pout put on...
She gulped the milk down and her eyes reflexly flung open...

"Good morning..." Ashwin smiled as he got the glass from her and placed it on the table beside him...
He placed a morning kiss on her forehead as she kissed his cheeks...

They were indeed cute when it came to express how much they can love each other...

"Ayoo indha book illa... andha volume 2 eduthutu VA..." Ashwin chuckled on how Sivaangi brought the morning magazine that layed just beside her book to him in sleep...

She slapped the magazine on her forehead as she replaced it and came back with her volume...

"Paper Kashtama irukkuma?" She spoke the first word since she woke up and her pout made it extra cute accompanying her morning voice...

"Adhellam irukadhu... en rowdy padicha padippuku... kasthamana paper eh easy ah dhan irukkum..." he said as he pulled her on the bed beside him and hugged her tight from the behind...

She studied and he asked questions...
He was proud when she was just perfect on answering the questions... be it from deep inside the book or just random ones...

"Seri... podhum... poi kelambu... I'll drop you and Naanum apde duty ku poiduven..." Ashwin said as he pushed her up and sprang off the bed after her...

"Duty ku poviya? Aren't you coming to invigilate?" Sivaangi asked as Ashwin pulled her close to him by her waist... making her back hug his front...

"Illa... Naan un kadaisi exam ku dhan varuven... Konjam severe cases handle panren..." Ashwin said placing a kiss on her ear-cheek junction...

"Appo nee varalana... vera yaaru varuva?" She asked annoyed and confused...

"Vera yaaru? Raghu varuvan illa unga nonnanungala yaarachu varuvanga..."

Sivaangi's face frowned at the mention of his name and she felt her insides just disgusted by the mention...

She smiled at him and ran to the wash after having placed a quick peck on his lips...

"Ayo Jyo... podhum podhum... Evlo?" She said as she pushed true hand thag constantly attempted to feed her...

"Yen ma Sivaangi... Saapdama poi anga mayakam potuta yaaru varuva? Indha mendel Duty nu poita Amma nu kathunalum kekathu Appa nu kathunalum kekathu...." She said feeding her the freshly prepared Idly...

"Ayo... Ivlo Saapta naan andha hall oda AC kaathu la thoongiduven... Appo nee vena Ennaku exam ezhudo thariya..." Sivaangi stuck her tongue out as the duo had a Who would roast the other more competition...

"Ayo... podhum podhum... Sivaangi VA kelambalam... Amma ozhunga endha velayum seyyama rest edunga..." Ashwin said as he hugged her a bye and pulled Sivaangi...

Ashwin sensed Sivaangi who usually jogged a meter ahead of him now walking slow and lost in thoughts...
He knew she was disturbed...

He sighed as he retraced his last few steps and slid his arm under her right and moved it hug the left...

His grip made her look up at him as he already looked down at her with a tiny smile... his all charmed up smile put on...

"Nee nalla pannuva... Rank...." Ashwin pulled up his fingers and started from three then two then one...
"Rank 1- Sivaangi Ashwinkumar....."

Ashwin said placing a kiss on her temple...
She felt her insecurities melt down as she looked up at him with a happy and now relieved smile...

Him... only him... Just him... He had the effect and power to make her feel this way, she thought as she whispered a "hmm..." and a nod...

They stopped walking a few inches before the hospital building as she pulled him down...
Placed a love filled peck on his always filled with love lips and tan after having given him a bye...

"All the best...." He mouthed when she turned back to look at him...

She ran inside as it was already close to time...
Her feet slowed down from the sprint that she was running into slow tip toes when she heard the voice...

"Long day..." She facepalmed as she entered...
