"Hange! I need your help!" Y/n looked very serious.

Hange replied with same serious face, "What's wrong, Y/n? Do you need some drugs?"

The whole mood changed at Hange's words, "Huh? No! Of course I don't need drugs! I wanted to ask if you could keep me busy so my friends wouldn't take me to the festival."

Hange laughed awkwardly while rubbing her head, "S-Sorry, Y/n. I have activities and I wanted to invite you but it's after the festival."

Y/n stopped breathing for a moment. Then, she smiled crookedly, "Y-You're kidding right?"

Hange shook her head slowly, trying not to break Y/n's hope.

Eren barged into year 3 classroom, his eyes sparkling, "Y/n! We finally caught up! Why are you here?" Armin and Mikasa also entered the class, "Y/n, we were really worried about you."

Y/n shrieked while jumped away like a cat, "Go away! I don't want to go to the festival!"

"But you have to! It's our humble childhood tradition!" Armin protested.

Mikasa also tried to reassure Y/n with her best smile, "Yep. If you come along, so will I."

Y/n thought for a moment about all these festivals. First, she doesn't want to dress up too hard. Second, she loves food. Third, she can get every gift in the game stand and she can give it to Zero. Lastly, she can enjoy the festival with her other friends.

In conclusion, Y/n gave up, "O-Okay. Fine."

Hange stood between them, tilting her head in confusion. Since she didn't know what the topic of their conversation was, she simply shrugged her shoulders, pushing the four underclassmen to return to their own classes.

As Y/n and her friends returned to their class, they overheard their classmates talking about the summer festival.

"Oh, summer festival? Me, Y/n, Mikasa, and Armin will go there too!" Eren said enthusiastically.

Y/n smiled, "Come on join us, Annie! Let's have fun and suffer together."

"Yakisoba, cotton candy, shaved ice cream, grilled squid, octopus dumplings, candy apples!" Sasha thought of all the food she could eat there.

"I wonder if they have a fried chicken stall." Connie wished he will eat fried chicken at the festival.

Jean smirked haughtily, "Hmph! I'll teach you guys how to enjoy the festival."

Christa stood up from her seat, pleased that the rest of her classmates had also joined them, "Hurray! Sounds fun! Right, Annie?"

"Y-Yeah..." Annie mumbled.

"Y-Y/N! Do you want to be my partner at summer festival?"

"Y/n!! I-I want to invite you to the f-festival tonight. Are you free?"

"Finally, I found you, dear Y/n. I would give you anything as long as you become my partner at summer festival tonight."

"You want money? Penthouse? I'll give you anything as long as you want to be with me at the festival tonight."

Almost every boy at school wants to take Y/n to the summer festival. All she wanted to do was sleep at night and then catch some interesting bugs later on. But her childhood friend wanted her to join this festival just like the previous years.
