Pam's POV

"Where are we going?" I asked.
"It's a surprise." Luke glanced at me for a second before looking back to the L.A. road. It had been just 2 days since we'd arrived there and I was loving every second. "Please, don't tell me you don't like surprises."
"I do like surprises. But..."
"But what?"
"I'm kind of a curious girl." I smiled with innocence.
"Oh," he chuckled. "but I already knew that, princess."
"How come when I tell you something about myself you say that you already knew it?" I laughed.
"Because you're my girlfriend. And as the good boyfriend I have to be to deserve you, I must know everything about you."
"To deserve me?"
"Sometimes people think you're insane cause you're dating me."
"Why would they think that?"
"Because you have always been far out of my league."
"Out of your league?"

I stared at him for a second.
"Stop the car over there." I pointed with my finger to the side of the road.
"Why?" Luke asked.
"Just do it."
He looked at me in a curious way but he parked the car where I had told him to.

"I'm not out of your league. I'd say that you are out of mine and you are the one who's insane for dating me. But I don't care, okay? I don't care what they say, what they think, non of it. I love you. Insane or not, you are perfect for me. And nothing's ever gonna change that. Dammit. I love you, Luke."

His deep blue eyes just stared at mine.
Then, moving both of his hands from the helm, he placed one on my cheek and with the other one he pulled me closer grabbing my neck and he kissed me.
It was a sweet and at the same time a passionate kiss full of love.
He moved back and stared again.
"I love you, Pam. You're my princess. I'd give up my entire life for you. You're everything I've ever dreamed."
We hugged for what seemed hours until Luke glanced at the clock and said we should get back on our way.

Back on the road, he kept our fingers interwined and he only let go when we reached the place he said we were supposed to go.
"Now, close your eyes." He said. "No cheating. Grab my hand; I'll lead you."
I closed my eyes but, as I said, I'm a very curious person, so I tried to open my eyes less than a centimeter to see where he was taking me.
"I said no cheating, Pam!"
"Okay, okay."
I kept my eyes closed until he said:
"Here we are."

When I opened them, I found the most beautiful place ever.
We were at some place in a lonely beach.
There was a small wooden table, set up for two people in a romantic way.
Over it there were tall candles that had been lightened up.
Rounding the table there were sunflowers making the shape of a giant heart.

"Do you like it?"
Luke had his hands buried into his skinny jeans front pockets. He was stumbling foward and back, biting his lip ring.
"No, I don't like it." I said looking at him.
His nervous grin dropped into a heartbreaking face.
"I LOVE IT." I yelled and jumped at him. He grabbed me by my legs and I interwined my hands behind his neck.
"Shit. I thought you really didn't like it." He whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine.
"I'm sorry." I giggled.
"Okay, follow me." Luke said putting me down.

He grabbed my hand and made me go after him to the table.
Pulling back one of the chairs, he gestured me to sit down. Then, he grabbed the other chair and placed it right in front of me.
"What are you doing?"
"Don't laugh." He said laughing too. "Yo make me nervous."
"What? My laugh makes you nervous?"
He just looked up at me in the way a little kid does when he's about to do something he planned.

Suddenly, he took out a guitar-the one I had used without his permission a month ago or so-and sat down in the chair before me.
"What are you doing Luke?"
"Just listen, princess."

He started playing his guitar.
Jesus Christ, grab me. He's singing me a song.

"There are no words to paint a picture of you, girl.
Your eyes and those curves.
It's like you're from some other world.
You walk my way. Oh, God, it's so frustrating.
So why do I disappear when you come near? It makes me feel so small.
Why do I blow my lines most everytime like I've got no chance at all?

Luke kept on looking and smiling at me.
I felt like I couldn't handle it anymore.

If I could be your superman, I'd fly you to the stars and back again.
Cause everytime you touch my hand, you feel my powers running through your veins.
But I can only write this song and tell you that I'm not that strong.
Cause I'm no superman.
I hope you like me as I am."

I would be a total lie if I said I wasn't crying at this point.
The small amout of makeup I wore was washed away by the tears fallind down both sides of my face. My hands were over my mouth trying to cover the sobbing.

"It ain't no lie, I have to tell you how I feel.
But each time I try it gets a little more unreal.
You say my name. Oh God, I can't stop shaking.

So why do I dissapear when you come near? It makes me feel so small.
If I could read your mind, girl, would I find any trace of me at all?

If I could be your superman, I'd fly you to the stars and back again.
Cause everytime you touch my hand,
You feel my powers running through your veins.
But I can only write this song, and tell you that I'm not that strong.
Cause I'm no superman, I hope you like me as I am."
He moved his gaze towards me and smiled. His eyes were shining.
He left the guitar beside his chair and kneeled in front of me.
While wiping my tears he came closer and whispered in my ear: "I love you."

I'm such a bad person 😞 I didn't update in so long and I have no excuses.
But here's a Pam & Luke chapter ☺️ it would be really nice from you if you could give me ideas for a ship name because I have none. I mean, I don't think "puke" would be a great name 😐

If you would like me to answer questions about anything, I would love to. Just comment ☺️
I love youuu ❤️

Andrea :) xx
