"The time it takes to heal"

He fell to the floor on the verge of death as his eyes went blurry
"Hgh.."

"Hiro come on stop it STOP IT I can't let you die not on my watch!!!" * Rika trying her best to aid him with the kit or at least let him hold on until they can get out of this crazy town and move to the hospital in the next town which was 30 mins away and if she ran as fast as she could she would make it there in maybe 10 minutes or under at best with carrying Hiro*

"R-Rika."

"Stop it and just let me heal you just relax then the pain will hurt less" *she said as she rubbed medicine on his wounds to stop him from bleeding out*

"I-.. They were too fast. I couldn't protect you"

"Don't worry about me I'll be fine I can pull my own weight you know!! Just let me focus on healing you and getting you to the nearest town I promise it won't take long" *she said with a cry in her throat feeling bad that Her best friend would die because of her*

He would faint as he held onto his last breath

*Rika tired her best to get him to the nearest town as she finished patching him up as he slowly passed out his pulse weak she tired her hardest until she made it there no demons in sight and this town no demons reported she had people help him as she waited to hear it they could save him or not and she starts thinkings about how just yesterday they were laughing while stuffing there face of onigiri she began to cry*

His eyes would open barely
As he called to Rika faintly "Rika..."

*She perked up hearing him finally he spoke and spoke back* "yea YES Hiro I'm right here What is it pls tell me"

"You .. y-you have a big head.."

"Ha-hahahah" *she laughed knowing he was finally going to be ok as she heard him tease her* " yea you know I just might ahahaha"

He tried to get up "A-ah"

"Stay there your not fully healed yet" *as she pushed him back down on the bed to rest* "Relax take it easy you need time to heal up"

"No.. we have to go after the clones."

"Relax I already reported the town to the Hashira they will take care of it and turns out half the town was demon clones so it was dumb of us to go in there in the first place" *she joked know that everything was going to be ok*

He would reach for Rika
"Can you fix me food please?" He giggled with a faint smile on his face

*she looked back with a shocked face that turned into a smile* "Sure, what do you want?"

"Anything."

"Ok I just make you some onigiri sounds good?"

"With some ramen as well please?" He put his hand on her arm softly

"Sure" *she said as she held his hand* "I'll be back ok, keep this" *she handed him a good luck charm and left to go make to food and bring it back to Hiro*

*once the food was made she brought it back to Hiro* "Hiro here I tried my best you should eat it while it's still hot, ok" *her words light and a smile on her face*
