The Potion Song Part 1

(POV:Ares)

-"I will make you a potion that will turn you into a human for three days"

-"Got that? Three days!"

-"Now, listen, 'cause this is important!"

-"Before the sun sets on the third day, you've got to get the little princess to fall in love with you"

-"That is, she's got to kiss you"

-"And not just any kiss, the kiss of true love"

-"If you know, she kisses you before the sunset sets on the third day, you'll remain human permanently"

-"If not, then you'll turn back into a merman and belong to us"

Someone's muffled cries were heard in the background, but before I could turn Ursel asked me if I agreed.

-"So, have we got a deal?"

-"If I become human, I'll never be with my father and sister's again"

-"That's right, but you'll have your little princess"

-"Life's full of tough choices, isn't it?"

-"Oh! One last thing, we have discussed your payment"

-"But I don't have any..."

-"I won't ask much, something so small you won't even miss it"

-"Your payment will be, your voice"

-"My voice?"

-"You got it pal! No more talking, singing, Zip!"

-"But without my voice, how can I...?"

-"You have your looks, your pretty face, and don't underestimate body language!" he walked towards a cabinet and began singing again.

-"The girls up there don't like a lot of blabber"

-"They think a boy who talks a lot's a bore"

-"Yes, on land it's preferred that the ladies talk and that men say no words"

-"And after all, friend, what's talking even for?"

-"Come on then, ladies aren't impressed by conversation"

-"True ladies avoid it when they can"

He pulled potions out of the cabinet, throwing them behind them as they lined up making their way to the cauldron. Bright colors emerged from it and small sparks and explosions.

(A/N):

I have Finals tomorrow! I'm terrified...but after this I have Finals on Thursday and then No School!
