tears streamed down sivenchi's face effortlessly as she watched the men begin to bury her oldest brother piling the brown dirt on top of his white shiny casket. she knew this day was coming but she didn't know it would be so soon. a sob slipped from in between her lips as she turned around beginning to leave the gravesite.
"sivenchi." she heard her other brother, saylen call out from behind. he was her only sibling left out of the three of them and he so happened to be the youngest only being eighteen years old.
before she could fully turn around and give him a response, gun shots were heard loudly causing the few people dressed in black to all scatter. she watched saylen drop to the ground as two bullets pierced through his chest and another straight through his scull.
"no!" sivenchi screamed loudly while dropping down with him, hugging his body not caring that his blood was beginning to cover her dress.
she perk her head up at the sound of tires screeching, to see an all black charger beginning to speed away down the road as two men with ski masks both held guns out their window. one thing she made sure to memorize is one of the men face as he took off his mask as the car began to fade away.
"sivinchi." she heard once again this time by a male voice as she slowly fluttered her eyes while being shaked violently.
"stop touching me." she mumbled softly as she sat up to be face to face with her boyfriend derrick. she threw the covers off of her lower body and began to head towards the bathroom.
"i heard you screaming in your sleep again so i came to check up on you and plus you have to head to the law firm in about thirty more minutes ." derrick rolled his eyes peaking his head in the bathroom as sivenchi stared at her reflection in the mirror watching sweat drip down her forehead from the previous nightmare that always seemed to replay. no matter what she always catches herself reliving the same event at night.
she didn't say anything choosing to ignore him and proceeded to turn on the shower setting the water temperature to how she likes it, waiting on him to get out so she could strip naked.
once she took care of her hygiene and completed her makeup along with her hair, she grabbed her purse and head towards the living room.
"hopefully i'll be back before four o'clock today if ceejay don't keep me there all day, love you!" sivenchi yelled hoping her boyfriend could hear her before slamming the front door shut making sure to lock it. no matter what she always made sure to tell her loved ones she loves them.
