Meanwhile in Italy
Elijah Mikaelson was currently in Italy with some witches from a coven, and Valerie Tulle alongside with him asking them if there was anyway for the Gemini twins to not merge once they turn twenty two because it'll break everyone's hearts once the girls find out they have to merge, and the strongest one survives while the weakest twins consciousness and magic, however, is drained away and dies.
Elijah had felt his phone buzz, and noticed his niece had sent him a text message saying it was urgent, and making him reply a quick 'I'll read this in a bit', and tucked his phone away as he went back inside to listen into the conversation he was missing, but once arrived those words made him freeze.
"One twin must become a heretic." The witch said as Valerie and Elijah froze not able to speak at this information.
"This is a very dangerous idea, and risky." Valerie said looking at the witch, and back to Elijah.
"Then I guess they'll merge because theres no other way." The witch shrugged not caring if they didn't like this idea.
"What she means to say is will discuss this news with the family." Elijah said as the witch finally looked at Elijah who's been constantly avoiding to meet eyes with him, but decided to look at him with a taunting smile.
"I agree with Mr. Suits over here, and say Elijah? Elijah am I right?" The witch said as Elijah raised his eyebrows.
"Yes?" Elijah asked curiously.
"A thousand years ago your mother made prophecy– " the witch began speaking as she paused putting a finger on her chin trying to think, "A prophecy in which one of your siblings would have a soulmate." The witch spoke.
"Which sibling is the one with a soulmate." Elijah questioned with Valerie listening in as well confused never hearing about a prophecy, but yet she was trapped in a prison world for years.
"Obviously the ones who are married—" The witch said rolling her eyes interrupting them before they speak, "Word spreads around to the witches community." The witch said.
"If they were soulmates since the very beginning. How come they didn't happen? And Thena had went through a whole heartbreak questioning her worth?" Elijah said getting upset finding out about this.
"Isn't it obvious your brother the big bad hybrid made a deal with a witch allowing Thena to forget ever learning about some prophecy, and as the spell was going your brother was able to compel her into loving him. However, the spell was breaking the minute Kol had arrived into the picture because their bond was beginning to form while Klaus and hers was breaking apart since the spell was warring off. How come you had no idea about this Elijah? The prophecy spell is in every grimoire especially your mother's?" The witch said making Elijah and Valerie stare at the woman in shock at what they just learnt.
"There was–" Elijah paused with realization hitting him the picture Hope had sent him was the prophecy, and he had remembered accessing his mother's spell book once, and stumbling on a ripped page.
"Klaus!" Elijah said.
"What about that ass of a brother" Valerie said.
"He ripped out the page in mother's grimoires knowing that if one of us were to find out about this prophecy. He would have been yelled at for not saying anything, but now he's in so much trouble."
"Wait—" Valerie said looking at the witch. "So what you're telling me exactly is that Thena Salvatore was never in love with Klaus Mikaelson?" Valerie had said.
"In love? No. Although, She was attracted to him, but she never had romantic feelings for him." The witch had finished off.
"Oh I just remembered!" The witch said making them look at her.
"Soulmates have the power to have children together seeing as they are bonded for eternity as one. That it is only exceptional so that the next soulmates can come around." The witch said making the couple stare at each other.
"Thena can't get pregnant though" Valerie sighed.
"Oh nonsense! I have here a vial so that her body can begin to allow her the chance to have children. I wish you all well, but I have more clients to see. Toodles!" The witch had handed elijah a box, and waved at them approaching her new clients.
The two had left the witches coven bringing the box that held the vial with them, and Elijah pulling out his phone that kept buzzing as his niece kept calling him. He sighed putting the phone on speaker listening in as Hope was rambling too fast.
"Hope slow down. I can't understand you." Elijah said.
"Uncle Elijah you need to come back quick. Dad is making a witch and I to access Aunt Thena's memories. He's not even listening to me that I don't want to invade someone else's memories!" Hope said making Valerie scream a sudden slur.
"We're on our way hope." Elijah said hanging up the phone, "We have to leave now!" Elijah said grabbing Valerie's hand gently as they ran catching the nearest taxi forgetting their whole luggage's at the hotel.
"Elijah... She isn't picking up her phone." Valerie said biting her nails in fear not knowing what was currently going on back home.
"I'll call my two brothers, and you call her two brothers." Elijah sighed pulling out his phone to call his brother already in worried about his sister.
"Okay" Valerie said.
