A/n: Not a request, but it is rather personal to me. I'm sure several other have gone threw this, and that's why I am making this.
It's short, sweet, more or less a friendship instead of relationship.
Enjoy!

Larry's brush lazily stroke the canvas. His eyes glazed over as he stared threw the canvas. He was distracted with his thoughts. One of his best friends were going threw a hard time, and didn't know how to help without being insensitive. Niether did his other friends when he asked them for advice.
How do you tell your best friend that they were in a horrible relationship, or rather they should leave it? Larry had tried to express this, but they were fighting hard for the poor relationship. It was only going to hurt them more in the long run. Larry knew it would and he vowed to be there every step on the way.
Larry sighed removing the brush seeing a basic base of something that is sure to come out well. He didn't know what it was yet, but he was sure his friend would be able to give him insight on it next week. Larry smiled knowing he'd get to see her in a weeks time. Since she lived an hour out, it was rare he saw her.

Y/n sat muffling her cries into her pillow. A muffled scream escaped her at what she knew she had to do. It didn't make it any easier, but she did it. She knew everyone around her was correct. Still didn't make her break up easier, because no one was there to comfort her physically.
Trying to breath straight, Y/n reach over and grabbed her phone. Sniffling and breathing heavily, trying to calm herself, she texted the one person she felt she could reach out it at the ungodly hour of the night.
Y/n: you awake?
Y/n sat holding her phone in one hand, her other arm holding her pillow close to her chest as tears fell unwillingly. A minute passed. Then two.
Larry: yep!
you okay?
Y/n sniffed adjusting herself with her pillow. With the phone grabbed in both hands, Y/n sobbed quietly.
Y/n: no...
I.. I broke up with him.
Y/n sat waiting for a response as the realization hit her harder. Losing the person she had seen forever with, gone. The person she had once felt so save with, gone with another. The person who promised to never leave, had months before this choice she made. Her year long relationship, gone.
Larry: call?
Y/n bit her lower lip and hit the call button.
"Hey, Y/n."
Y/n sniffed swiping her eyes.
"H-hey Larry. I'm sorry.. I don't mean to bother you with this," Y/n sniffed trying to stop her tears. "I know your annoyed with me constantly talking about my relationship problems.. and hearing about him.."
Y/n hear Larry sigh.
"It's fine. I'll always be an ear for you."
Y/n didn't respond making Larry sigh.
"Tell you what. When I see you next Friday, we can go out and get ice cream. Free snuggles ahead Y/n," Larry chuckled lightly.
Y/n chuckled lightly. She felt a little bit better hearing Larry laugh. She smiled a bit wider knowing snuggles were ahead. Larry was always a good snuggle buddy.
"Thanks Larry. How are you doing?" Y/n asked.
Y/n sat with a small smile as Larry spoke to her. Telling her stories to focus on. Discussing the new shows and latest releases of their favorite bands. Dispite the different taste in music, Y/n and Larry had agreed with a healthy mix of the too since Y/n did listen to rock, and a little bit of pop and country. Their conversations latested until the early hours of the morning making both laugh realizing school was going to be a pain in itself.
