"Has anyone seen my denim shorts?!" Cassie asks, rushing around the room.
"Last time I saw them, they were on Clover's suit case" Sky tells her while whipping her hair into a messy bun.
"Oh those were yours? I guess I change then" Clove giggles, slipping of the shorts and changing into a new pair.
"Yeah, thanks Clove" Cas rolls her eyes at her then putting on the shorts.
"Guys, we have like five minutes. C'mon let's go!" Skyler orders while clapping her hands together.
"Yeah well some if us still have to do our hair! It's no our fault you're having a good hair day!" I say, finally giving up on my hairstyle.
'I'll just leave it out' I think out of frustration.
"Shut up!" She laughs, slapping my arm playfully.
We finally finish our hair, with Sky waiting impatiently then walk over to the mess hall. I find Josh and the other two sitting down already and he waves at us. I wave back, actually happy to see him.
"Hey Jess" He pats the seat next to him and I place my jacket down onto it.
"Hey guys! I'm just gonna get my food. Be back soon" I call to them. I just grab a bowl of cereal and walk back to the table, where all the other girls are sitting too.
"So what do you think we're going to do today?" Dylan asks, trying to make conversation.
"Didn't Emma say something about flying fox and giant swing?" Cassie says.
"We had to do the giant swing once in middle school and it was so much fun!" Clove smiles, clapping her hands excitedly.
"Eh. It was alright I guess" Sky shrugs "But the scariest part is when you drop then your stomach just explodes"
"Are you two always together? Like there is nothing that comes between you guys" I laugh, pointing my spoon at them.
"Best friends since the 1st grade" Clove explains. And we're been to the exact same schools ever since"
"Yeah, like bros before hoes" Sky pipes in.
"Okay then..."

We finish breakfast and follow our camp instructor to our first activity, which was the duel flying fox. So I guess we need a partner?
Obviously Sky and Clove were together so that leaves Cassie I guess.
"Hey Cas, wanna be partners?" I ask.
"Oh sorry Jess. Dylan already asked me" She has and apologetic expression printed on her face and I just smile.
"It's okay. And by the way, I think Dylan likes you" I wink as she rolls her eyes. I swear I say her blush.
"Hey, wanna be my partner?" Josh asks, jumping on my shoulders a bit.
"Yeah, I guess. You're the only one left anyways" I sigh, dramatically.
"Wow. Glad to know I'm your last pick" He tells me, sarcasm in his words.
"Mhm. Let's go get our harness!" I grab his wrist and drag him over to our instructor.
"Okay, do you guys wanna go first?" She ask and we both nod eagerly.
"Okay then. Just so everybody knows" she shouts so everyone can hear. "Your partner that you have today, will your partner for every other activity" She then walks of to grab our equipment.
"So I guess your stuck with me for the whole summer" He smirks.
"Not the whole summer stupid. Just for like two more weeks"
"Whatever" He laughs, shoving me with his shoulder lightly.
"Your such a dick"
"So I've been told"
"Mhmm"
Once we were strapped to the flying fix with our harness, we were told to jump on the count of three. And long story short, I want to do that again. It was exhilarating. Josh got hit by a branch, but that's besides the point.
I think I'll generally miss this weirdo.
The rest if the day drags on and we were back in our cabins, sneaking candy and talking in hushed tones. My eyelids finally give up on me and I fall asleep.
