"SERGIO! He's here!" Kiara came running into my room. She looked as frantic as she sounded. I was still half asleep and standing in nothing but my briefs. I slept here last night and planned on leaving early this morning to go back to the warehouse. My lack of sleep wasn't allowing it but here she comes running into my room forcing me up and out of bed.
"Kiara calm down, what's happening?"
"Oh God Sergio, we need to leave like NOW. He's here, Dario's here!" It's as if my brain went on alert as soon as the words left her lips.
I grabbed the handgun I kept under my pillow and handed it to her. "Stay here lock the door behind me. Don't come out until I tell you to." I instructed before dashing down the stairs. I grabbed the riffle I kept hidden between the sofa and ran towards the nearest window. I carefully peeped through to see only two vehicles outside. Dario has to be beyond cocky to come for us with only two vehicles. He has no idea how many men I could've had here unless he's been keeping an eye on us for a while unknowingly. I wondered how he even found us. My mind was in overdrive but it came to a complete halt when I saw my wife hop out of the vehicle.
I swung the front door open in all my fury and she casually looked at me like nothing was wrong.
