Chapter 3

Alex's POV

We finally landed everyone was pretty much knocked out Hayden sat next to me sleeping with her head Resting on my shoulder while Mario slept in a seat by the window with his laptop open on the table as he clutched on to a clipboard. I know I'm only 20 years old and too young to be a parent but Hayden's like a daughter to me I've been wanting to ask her something but I'm afraid of how she'd react.

Just then the pilot come back to tell us that we had arrived.

"Miss this is your stop" he said I nodded and turned to wake up Hayden. "Hayden wake up we're here" I said shaking her lightly she opened her eyes to look at me then groaned "Ughhh Already" she questioned

"Yes Now wake up Mario"  I said she nodded and went over to wake him.

We got off the jet and there was 2 cars outside waiting for us one with 2 of my bodyguards that I Told Mario was completely unnecessary by the way but he said that it is so here we are. Mario think I don't know he still work's for my father and was just a spy sent with me. what Person you know works long and hard completely for free? Right no one. I figured it out within a week of him so called working for me he just don't know I know and I'm going to keep it that way I could've been fired him but I actually like having him around even if he's my fathers spy sent to protect and babysit me.

As we were in the car riding I could see that Hayden was lost in thought as she zoned out staring out of the car window. She was quieter then usual which worried me I seen the cuts on her wrist and the bruises on her thighs I'm afraid she might hurt herself more.

"Hey could you stop by the mall" I asked the driver He nodded his head yeah and Mario looked at me confused I looked over at Hayden not even caring about the funny look Mario was giving me. After about an hour we were finally at the mall I put on my hat and some shades so that no one would Recognize me. "Where are you going" Hayden asked

"We're going shopping let's go" I said to her

"But I don't have any money" she said I rolled my eyes

"Hayden don't worry about that bring your ass" I said she rolled her eyes but did as I said just then the bodyguards got out of the car behind us I gave Mario a really look.

"Come on man do they really have to come"

"Yes it's your par- I mean um it's for your protection" he corrected himself as he almost said my parents I raised one eyebrow at him and he Nervously rubbed the back of his neck I decided to leave the poor man alone and just go with it.

"Look Mario They don't need to go every where with me, me and Hayden needs some girl time so if you don't mind" I said he was hasten but quickly nodded and me and Hayden walked into the mall me with a smile on my face happy with my Small Victory. We walked around the mall and Hayden still didn't pick anything I had about 4 bags already. "Hayden"

"Huh?"

"You'll need some clothes for this trip" I said she sighed "I know"

"Then why haven't you grabbed anything I told you everything you need on this trip is on me" I said

"I know I know you've said it a hundred times it's just that I uh - I don't want to seem like I'm using you for all your money or something" she said looking away embarrassed

"Hayden I make five hundred thousand dollars a week just from playing a game I already loved you won't be able to use me for all my money it's impossible plus I'm telling you it's ok to go crazy every once in a while do that now" I explained she looked at me and nodded
