20. Love and lust

Alycia's POV:

I am feeling better this morning. Yesterday, I really did want to cuddle Y/n all day,but I don't want her to get sick so I made her hangout with Angus.I didn't know if she came back to my room though, but I think she didn't because I didn't woke up.
I reach for my phone and see my notifications, my twitter has too many notifs but I ignore it for now, probably mentions and follow. I read a text from Y/n saying she couldn't visit me today because she's finishing something important. I go downstairs to have some coffee, I still have headache but I can manage. Dad is reading a magazine in the living room, he smiled at me which I returned then go straight to the kitchen where my mum is arranging some groceries.

"Hey sweetie how are you feeling?"mum asked.

"I'm feeling better, just a little headache." I said while making my coffee. She nodded at me,then I sat down on the chair.

"What time did Y/n left yesterday?" I asked mum. She look a little nervous to be honest but I don't know why.

"Uh I think before 6pm." she said not meeting my eyes. Something is wrong here. I'm a very observant person you know.

"What did Angus and her did yesterday?" I asked looking at her intently.

"Uhm they pl-."

My phone rang and it's my manager. I answered the phone not bothering to leave the kitchen, mum knows everything anyway.

"Hello?" I said.

"Alycia what the hell happened?!"He asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"Did you and Y/n had a fight?" He said, he sounded distress.

"No? Why? what's happening?" I asked, I don't have a good feeling about this.

"I'll send you a link then call me back, tell me what's going on." He said,before hanging up. I received the link and open it right away, I wasn't expecting what I read, at all.

I didn't continue reading the article because my blood boils at every word I see.

"What happened yesterday mum?" I asked seriously.My dad entered the kitchen putting his dirty mug in the sink. I glared at his back, he must have felt it because he turn around looking at me.

"What's goin' on? why are you looking at me like that?" he asked confused.

"You tell me what's going on dad! I know for sure you know everything! what happened yesterday?!" I asked quite loudly. I'm not someone who raises their voice at their parents but knowing they didn't tell me anything serious is making me frustrated.

"I knew this would happen." dad mumbled and sighed. I remain silent waiting for him to continue.

"Angus and Y/n played basketball yesterday, he accidentally elbowed her on the nose, she lost balance and landed wrong. She made us promised not to tell you until you get better, she didn't want you to worry when you're sick." Dad said. looking at me apologetically. I am mad. really mad.

"You should have told me! I had to read it by a freaking article that's all over the media! I have the right to know these things!" I said pacing back and forth before running upstairs and getting my keys. Finishing things my ass, I know she's hiding at her house!
