It was something that Elliot had a lot of. It was because of everything bad that happened in her life, at least that was the story used to rationalize her constant rage towards everyone and everything. Nonetheless, every amount of anger and aggression that she had was all pent up inside her, like a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode.

"What did the punching bag ever do to you?" She heard a familiar voice come from behind her.

Elliot whirled around with a smile on her face that stretched ear to ear when she saw her best friend leaning against the entrance of the gym, her arms crossed over her chest, a smirk resting on her face. "Nat!!!" Elliot squealed as she ran over towards her friend and pulled her into a bone crushing hug.

"And here I thought you wouldn't miss me, El?" Natasha spoke in a mocking tone as she wrapped her arms around her friend's waist, reciprocating the hug.
