11. Drunk Alycia

Alycia's POV:

Marny and I arrived at the address that Y/n gave to me. It's not a very big house but the open space is wide and the landscapes looks like it came right from a magazine, perks of Y/n being an architect I guess. There are many cars already , I may have intentionally went late cause I don't want them to think I'm so eager to see Y/n. Well I'm eager but they didn't have to know that! We knocked on the door and it opened revealing Manu.

"Hey guys! good to see you again, you're 30 minutes late, someone is eager to see you so follow me." Manu said after giving us a short hug. Then winked at me. Is Y/n eager to see me?! We followed him to the backyard where a lot of people are already enjoying the party. I was trying to look for Y/n but I can't see her, too many people.

"Alycia ?! Marny?!" Someone shouted. We turn around and saw it's Maia. She is smiling so big I thought she will split her face in half, Marny and I are the same though!

"Hi! Gosh it's so good to see you! you look good, how are you?" I said while Marny and I gives her a hug.

"I'm doing great, I'm so happy to see you guys, it's been too long!"She said still smiling. We never got the chance to hang out since we're both pretty busy with our jobs. Manu is just smiling at the side watching our interaction.

"I told you someone is eager to see you." He said smirking at me.

Oh he's talking about Maia then, I was a bit disappointed that it's not Y/n who's eager to see me.

"Why so sad Leeshy? are you hoping it was someone else?" Manu said, still smirking. I blushed, I guess my face shows my disappointment.

"what? no of cou--."

"Yes, she was hoping it was someone with pretty eyes and specifically an architect you know, no offense Maia" Marny said interrupting me, now she's smirking too.

"None taken, and I totally know who you mean, Manu told me everything." Maia said, and guess what? she's smirking too! I probably look so red now with all these teasing ugh!

"Shut up guys! I don't know what you're talking about and stop with the smirks you all look creepy right now!" I said, giving each of them a glare. They just freaking laugh at me!

It was maybe at least 20 minutes of catching up with Maia when Y/n finally walk towards us.

"Hey, I'm sorry guys I wasn't able to greet you when you came. I can't escape my Aunt when she started talking." Y/n said, chuckling. She looks so good. Plain white shirt with a leather jacket and black pants with combat boots, very simple, but this girl can probably wear the ugliest clothes and still look like a model, well she's a model duh!

"It's okay, no need to apologize , we understand, and we are enjoying the party and catching up with Maia anyway." I said giving her a smile. Call me delusional but I swear she was checking me out!

"I invited you though, so I'm really sorry, but anyway let me introduce you guys to my parents then we can enjoy the rest of the party." Y/n said. Marny and I nodded at her, then said a 'we'll be back' to Maia.

"Mum, dad, these are my friends Alycia and Marny.Alycia, Marny this is my dad Henry and my Mum Amy." Y/n said, introducing us to a very good looking couple. Now I know where she got the looks.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you, you both are so pretty." her mum said. I was gonna offer my hand to shake but her mum and dad gives us hugs instead. I can feel they are really good people.

"Hello Mrs. Y/ln, It's a pleasure to meet you, and we have a small gift for you, happy birthday." I said, while giving her a small paper bag.

"Oh you're so sweet, thank you!"She said, giving me another hug. I just smiled and nodded at her. We stayed and talked to them a little bit before they excuse themselves to attend to other guests.
