9.Back in Australia

Y/n's POV:

I am laughing in my living room while texting Alycia.It's so easy to mess with her you could tell from a far she's being nervous. Man I didn't know texting could be fun!

"What got you so smiley on your phone?" Manu asked from the stairs.

"Nothing, just messing with Alycia.I admit talking to her wasn't really a bad idea." I told him still laughing while rereading the messages. I didn't notice Manu is already behind me so I wasn't ready when he snatch my phone and started running towards my backyard.

"Hey give it back!" I said, chasing him. When I reached him, he's already reading my messages. He doesn't really know what privacy is does he?

"Stop torturing her, she's obviously panicking, be nice, poor Alycia she probably regrets texting you now." He said while typing something on my phone.

"What the hell are you doing?!" I asked, snatching my phone back. It's too late he already sent a reply. I glared at him when I read the message, while he's just smirking at me. One of this days I'm going to murder this guy I swear!

"That is how you talk to a woman, no wonder you never have a girlfriend." he said. I continue to glare at him, me being single is a choice! guess what he wrote? 'relax beautiful, I'm kidding, wanna meet up so you'll know how good I can be?' with a smirking face! sounds like a real douche, and guess what again? she already read the message! so I quickly wrote another text to try and reduce the damage.

me: Hey, that was Manu, I'm sorry if that message makes you feel uncomfortable.

Alycia's POV:

This is it she's gonna think I'm a bitch, she's never gonna talk to me again. I stop pacing when I received a text, and what I read makes me blush so much I probably look so red, good thing I'm alone now.

y/n: relax beautiful, I'm kidding, wanna meet up so you'll know how good I can be? 😏

Oh my gosh! is this for real? did she really said that? then I received another text. It makes me pout when she told me that was Manu, well I thought she's the one calling me beautiful and wanted a meet up but whatever!

me:It's okay 🙂 I really am sorry for insinuating that your a psychopath, it wasn't my intention 😭

y/n: Don't worry about it, I was just messing with you haha sorry 😆

Thank God she knows how to use emojis now! I was really thinking if we can have a meet up but I'm not sure, what if she thinks I'm too demanding?! I sigh. I guess I'll just have to continue texting her, I'm busy at the moment anyway and I'll go back to Australia soon. Let's just see if we'll meet again.

We continue texting, getting to know each other until night and we both said goodnight.I slept that night with a smile on my face.

It's been weeks since Alycia and I started texting each other. I learned a lot about her and I share things about me too, we're friends now and she's really nice so I feel comfortable with her. We found out that we're both from Australia, so that's really cool.Today, I'm flying back to Sydney to help Manu with work.Our main office is located there, so I am currently on my way to the airport.

I am currently on a phone call with Manu because he was supposed to pick me up, but it's been 30 minutes and he's still not here.

"I told you to be here by 7am, not come here at 7am Manu." I told him, irritated. who wouldn't!

"I'm sorry I forgot to set an alarm, it's your fault for getting a flight so early on sunday, but I'm here now, I can see you already." he said before hanging up.
