Chapter 1: The first day of College || l.h.

As I promised before, I made the first chapter a long one. So pls enjoy this chapter, I really do hope you enjoy this chapter as much as I did when I wrote this chapter!!! :))

Serenity's POV

My first day of college was so much fun. Today I talked to so many classmates, and I think me and Aailyah will get along with each other quite well. I also met two of the roommates of my shared dorm, Alina and Aailyah. They seem pretty nice, chilled girls, laid-back, easy-going, and really fun to hang out with.

Time skip

Me, Alina, and Aailyah hung out at Starbucks for all of us to get a Venti pumpkin spice latte with pumpkin spice cold foam. As soon as we left Starbucks and headed back to our shared dorm, we all realized we don't have anything to wear for the Homecoming Dance tomorrow. So, all of us went to my car and I drove all of us to the mall to go on a quick dress shopping trip.

Time skip to the mall

Once we got to the mall, we all headed to David's Bridal on the search for the perfect dresses for each of us for Homecoming Dance tomorrow. We tried on at least 3 different dresses, trying to find the perfect dresses for us. What I'm trying to look for is a champagne gold spaghetti strap dress that goes all the way to my ankles that has a slit going down from the hem all the way down.

While searching for the perfect dress which feels like forever, I finally found the hands-down most beautiful dress which matches what I was looking for. This is the dress I got:

When I showed the dress to Aailyah and Alina, they had a pure shock of excitement on their faces. "That dress looks so beautiful on you, Serenity!!!" said Alina with pure excitement. "You look absolutely stunning and gorgeous in that dress, Serenity!!!" Aailyah added to Alina's comment.

"Thank you girlies!!! I really love how this dress looks and feels on me!!!" I said. "Have y'all found your dresses yet?" I asked. "Yes, I have Serenity," said Aailyah. "This is my dress," said Alina

"OMG, THAT DRESS IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND BEAUTIFUL ON YOU ALINA!!!!" I said with pure excitement. "Not only is that dress perfect for you but it also matches your personality as well, Alina!!!" Aailyah added. "Thank you, Serenity and Aailyah, I really appreciate all of your compliments!!!" said Alina. "Where's your dress, Aailyah?" asked Alina. "This is my dress," Aailyah said.

"You look absolutely gorgeous in that dress, Aailyah!!! I said with pure excitement. "Omg, you look so stunning and absolutely beautiful in that dress, Aailyah!!!" said Alina. "Thank you girlies, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you guys with me to go dress shopping!!!" said Aailyah. "Same!!!! Alina and I said.

After we bought the dresses, we decided to go eat somewhere since none of us has eaten anything since this morning. We all decided to go get some Açaí bowls at a local place in the mall. "This Açaí bowl is so good!!!" I said. "I totally agree with you Serenity," Aailyah and Alina said. After we finished our Açaí bowls, we continued to walk around the mall and look for some other essentials to complete our outfits for the Homecoming Dance tomorrow.

Time skip after the mall

After the mall, we headed straight home to our shared dorms. Once we got back to our shared dorm all of us took a shower separately, and then afterwards we all took a short nap cause we were so tired from shopping all day.

The next day

The next morning Me, Alina, and Aailyah only had 3 classes today. So, once we were finished with our classes we all headed to our shared dorm we all watched The Squid Games for 30 minutes, and at 2 in the afternoon we all got ready and got into our dresses, put on our heels, did our hair and makeup for the Homecoming Dance which was at 4 in the afternoon. This is going to be one hell of a night and tons of fun.
