When I woke up, I expected Theo to be gone. I didn't open my eyes for a few minutes because I didn't want the confirmation that he wasn't going to be there when I opened my eyes. I, finally, opened my eyes to see Mattheo laying down next to me. He was facing me with his head in one hand.
"Morning, princess," he said, with his deep voice that I love way too much.
"Good morning!" I smiled. He pulled himself until he was sitting upright on the bed.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"This," he said, as he pulled me onto his lap. He laid me down to where my head was on his chest.
"What are you doing?" I asked again, laughing.
"My bad," Theo said, acting as if he was going to get up.
"Don't even think about it," I told him. He laughed as he began to stroke my hair.
"How's your head feel?"
"Terrible! How much did I drink?"
"A lot."
"I can tell!" I said as we both let out a quick laugh.
"How's this feel?" Theo asked. He took away one hand from stroking my hair and started rubbing my temples.
"I'm getting the best of both worlds right now!" I said, cracking a smile.
That's, of course, how we spent the whole day. I spent the whole day with Mattheo, but of course, that's one day closer to the end of the week.
