Jailah Remedee Smith is an 19 yrs. Old anxiety patient, she tends to witnessed how her parents was killed in front of her own eyes by their own Barangay Captain because of debt her father has because of playing poker with them; to the point that she can't do anything to fight for them at the age of 17 and on the same day where the police responded claimed her as the prime suspect of her parent's crime scene , turns out that it developed on her as a trauma.

Several panic attacks, hearing voices that she's a murderer which claimed by police officers and the same scenarios are bugging her every night in a form of nightmare, so the police officers thought that she might out of her head anymore. They bring her to mental facility because of that.

While on the Facility, nurses was really harsh on her because of closed mindedness but her psychiatrist told her that she isn't ill. She is just traumatized because of the scene she witnessed and it developed as anxiety. Every night and day as time passes Jailah already knows how to calm her demons and fight it out of her caused by the therapy which her psychiatrist does to her and advises her to try to reflect.

Jailah managed to calm her demons through diversions and stopping her self on remembering it, while slowly recovering; Jailah found a way to stop the demons through attending bible studies held on the facility for the doctor's. Though patient's like her doesn't allowed to be near she still tries to listen as the preacher talks. That made her realize that why can't she, if the bible says that she can why won't she try to stand out of darkness and release the pain she kept from years.

After a week convincing herself that she can release the pain and be eased, Jailah go to see her psychiatrist... While delivering what happened that day Jailah cries her heart out until her last sentence which is, " They are killed by the captain but I can't do anything just to protect them". She plead for help while crying. "Please help me doctor, I want justice for my parents...please". The psychiatrist had an act because of it.

Jailah didn't know that her psychiatrist recorded every session they have on their treatment. The psychiatrist showed it to police and they take it as evidence so as Jailah as a witness.

Jailah's psychiatrist released her after a few more treatment's to assure that she's already fine and have enough strength to fought her demons and the demon who killed her parents.

Trials after trials and the psychiatrist is always their beside her guiding her until she can. Their Barangay captain was charge upon "Reclusion Perpetua" and found guilty of murder on her parent's case.

Days passed after that trial but Jailah's psychiatrist still on her side helping her, one time Jailah's asked Jace Cordova her Psychiatrist's name."Why are you helping me?".

The psychiatrist responded, "Because I want to help you and because I don't want my history repeat it self through you. My parent's are businessman and businesswoman but because of my uncle's greed torn them down, little we didn't know that my uncle has debt on an illegal group which was caused of my parent's death. They can't find uncle that's why they hunt us instead of him. And like you before, I also blamed myself for it until a man came to me and help me out of the darkness. He is also a psychiatrist that's why I'm here now. Through him I found myself again and I want you to find yourself too through me Jailah. You are not alone I am here as your friend willing to stay with you through out".

Jailah cried while murmuring "t-thank you Jace. T-hank you for being my light".

Starting that day Jailah and Jace became closed and be good friends which eventually turns to lovers.

For now Jailah is living happily still studying on her 2nd year in college and Jace is still by her side being her supporter through her step on moving out of the darkness which enclosed her for years.
