Chapter 36

"No thanks Taehyung.. you'd gladly choke me to death" Jungkook said.

"But as far as I remember, you like being choked, don't you?" I smirked at him.

"Excuse me?" he looked at me incredulously.

"Hmm?"

"Whoa- what do you mean?" Jimin asked.

"Oh hey Yeonjun, you're here- oh Soobin's here too- and Taehyun-.. shouldn't we get to practice now?" Jungkook was suddenly super enthusiastic about playing football. 

Jimin stood up, followed by me.

"Changing the topic? Tsk tsk" I said into Jungkook's ear.

"Do you have a death wish Taehyung?" Jungkook looked mad.. like real mad.

"Aw, will you beat me up? You big baby-"

"You-" he held my collar.

"Yeah? Me? And you? The tension is quite thick, isn't it..? Jungkookie..?" I tongued my cheek and smirked at him.

"Huh- fuck you Kim Taehyung" he let go of the collar, pushing me away.

"Oh baby, you wish" I flicked his forehead and moved towards the centre of the field where the team was gathering, leaving a dumbfounded Jungkook behind.

Jimin had apparently lost interest in the conversation the moment Jungkook held my collar... My arguments with Jungkook weren't really anything concerning to anyone, anymore.. Now, had I been laughing with Jungkook... THAT would certainly lead to people rushing us to the hospital.. the mental hospital probably...

Once we were all drenched in sweat, Jimin decided we had practiced enough for the day.. The main tournament was nearing and the matches were to begin from the coming week.. We really had to roll up our sleeves now.

"Do you have classes now?" Jimin asked, wiping the back of his neck with a wet towel.

I shook my head, applying pain relief spray on my ankle.. my clumsy ass had somehow managed to twist it.. It wasn't anything major though.

"Wanna hang at my place?"

"I thought you were meeting your girlfriend"

"I can't see her" he said, "I don't wish to see her.. at all.."

"Oh my god, are we gonna have a gossip session about MiCha today?" I clapped my hands like an excited teenager.

"No Taehyung, we will not talk about MiCha at all.. please-"

"Aw, of course Minie" I chuckled.

"Soooo. what's up with you?" he asked me while we walked over to his car.

"I humiliated myself in front of y/n" I mentally face-palmed myself.

"What- how?" he asked, taking a sip of water from the bottle in his hand.

"I might've suggested that I'm a gigolo- or something like that-"

Something about what I said was hilarious to the extent that Jimin spat the water and then started laughing like a crazy man, "you- what-" he laughed again and then started coughing.

"What's so funny about my misery Jiminie?"

"How did you even manage to give her that idea?" he laughed again, "not that being a gigolo isn't respectful.. I respect all professions- but- what exactly did you say to her..?"

"Look- I was flustered okay?  I mean, it's not everyday that I get shy around someone.. But she makes me feel weird.. super weird.. but like- in a good way" I could feel myself blushing at this point.

For some reason, Jimin's expression had changed, he had stopped laughing too. "So uh- what did you say?" he asked as we got into the car.

"I lost track of what I was trying to say.. I dont really know what happened to our conversation.. It went from y/n being sexually frustrated to me being all shy over absolutely nothing-"

"Whoa- she's sexually frustrated? She told you that?"

"I- yeah,, I mean, no.. not really? Min Woo did-"

"Oh.."

"Yeah so- what was I gonna say..?" I scratched my head, "oh right, I think I like her.."

"Shit, could've never guessed" Jimin scoffed.

"Hey-"I was almost offended.

"But are you sure you like like her? And it's not just- well idk.. what do you usually see in all the people before you bang them?"

"Nothing, really" I said, "and BEFORE YOU SAY IT- No.. it's not like that with her.. I really LIKE LIKE her-"

"So you're sure about it now?"

"Yes"

"And it has nothing to do with the fact that you hate Jungkook?"

"Absolutely not"

"Well.. okay then-"

"And therefore, I've made up my mind" I said.

"About what?"

I grinned, "I'm gonna ask her if I can be her flatmate"
