Y/N POV

"Y/L/N! MEETING ROOM, NOW."

Fury's voice crackled through the speakers of my room, the volume causing his mic to let out a muffled, high pitched squeak that had Wanda and me clutching at our ears.

I groaned, flopping my head down into the crook of Wanda's neck and tightening my hold around her shoulders. She gives me a reassuring squeeze on my thighs that are straddling her hips before standing up from the bed, lifting me with her.

"The weekend is over, you knew this was coming детка (baby)." She whispers into my hair, trying to drop me to the floor but I wrap my legs around her waist, refusing to let go.

After some manoeuvring of limbs, she manages to untangle herself from me and I fall onto the carpet, staring up at her with a frown.

"Well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions."

"Indeed, now go and deal with them like a big girl so that we can finish what I was about to start."

I glare at her playfully, choosing to ignore her comment and cross my arms with a pout.

"What if I don't want to be a big girl?"

Wanda reaches her hand down, cupping my cheek before hooking a finger under my chin, forcing my eyes to stay locked on hers. Her auburn hair frames her face as she peers down at me with a smirk and dilated pupils.

"You want to be a good girl though, don't you?"

I race to my feet nodding dumbly and almost rip my bedroom door off its hinges as I fly out of the room and down the hall, Wanda's laughter following me as I make my way to the meeting room.

"Take a seat."

Fury gestures at the empty seat opposite him and I do as he says, swallowing hard at the lump in my throat while I try to hide the slight tremors shaking my hands as my mind starts racing with possible punishments.

Nat, Steve and Tony were also sitting beside the director. Nat gives me a encouraging smile and I relax slightly, leaning my back against the chair and taking a deep breath.

"What do you have to say for yourself?" Fury begins, his face expressionless.

"I'm sorry, sir. I don't know what I was thinking." I mutter unsure of what else to say and not wanting to anger the director further.

"You don't know what you were thinking? I don't know what you were thinking either, Y/l/n. What you did was extremely dangerous and left a trail of chaos in its wake, not to mention breaking several protocols. Now, I'm sorry for the loss of your sister and although I somewhat understand the motive behind your actions, I have no choice but to place you on probation. One month, no missions. We'll see where you're at by then as to whether I extend it."

"One month?! Director Fury, ple-"

"I don't want to hear it, Y/l/n."

"What am I supposed to do for a month? I'm the strongest asset this team has and you know it!"

"Yes, I do know it. Which is why I can't afford you to be going off the rails. Why don't you spend the month learning to cooperate as a team and working on being less detectable? Maybe you should've thought of this before you branched out on your own."

Afraid to piss him off further and extend my probation I remain silent, fixating on a scratch on the table.

"Stark, Rogers, Romanoff, I want weekly reports on Y/l/n's progress from each of you and how fit you think she is for returning to the team. Until then, Y/l/n, you're dismissed."
