Two weeks later

The young Avengers took whatever work Fury gave them. Cutting off any head of Hydra as they popped up and protecting people after the unrest from returning everyone after the snap. Right now, they were dealing with a group that wanted to return the world to what it was before everyone returned. They were building some kind of machine that they hoped would recreate that world.

Kate Bishop was mid fight with one of the group members, he had a large knife that resembled a short sword in his hand and Kate was desperately trying to avoid it. Snapping back up after a dodge, Kate came eye to eye with the man and would have been hit in the face if it weren't for a strong hand coming past her shoulder, catching the blade in its palm.

"Privett Katie," a familiar voice said as Kate turned her head to see the smiling face of Vienna Retnikopf only inches from her own.

"You know, your sisters are not going to be happy to see you," Kate said, barely able to move as she looking into Vienna's eyes.

"Are you?" Vienna asked, a surprisingly soft smile on her face as the guy across from them tried to pull his blade free from her hand but it didn't budge.

"Shut up," Kate rolled her eyes as she stepped back from Vienna so that they weren't so close anymore. She could feel a light blush forming on her cheeks and she didn't want to give Vienna the satisfaction of seeing it.

Vienna's gaze moved from Kate to the guy after he pulled a lot harder on the blade, making it dig more into her hand. She tilted her head slightly before twisting quickly and snapping it out of his hands.

"You're interrupting," Vienna said to him as she waved the knife in his face, blood dripping from her hand down the handle.

"Which is perfectly fine," Kate smiled as she pushed the tip of the knife down, "now please proceed to be unconscious."

Kate punched the guy square in the nose, making him fall to the ground. She turned to Vienna and looked up at her smirking face.

"Nice punch."

"You really shouldn't be so stupid," Kate told her as she turned to walk away.

"What do you mean?" Vienna chuckled, following behind her.

"You just grabbed a blade with your bare hands and are just letting the blood drip down your hand," Kate told her, taking a bandage from the pocket on the side of her leg and hitting it into Vienna's chest. "And you tried to kill your family. That wasn't your smartest move."

"No, I guess not," Vienna laughed, wrapping the bandage around her hand with a smile. "Is Yelena still working with you guys?"

"With Natasha back, basically, they all kind of are," Kate explained as she glanced back to see Vienna watching her which only made her blush worse, "you'll get to see them when we get back. You are coming back to the compound with us, right?"

"If you want me to," Vienna smiled as she flexed her hand to make sure it was still mobile in the bandage.
