a/n: i stole the adorable pic from @aestheticalbitch 's book hihihihihi
You were watching movies with your long-term girlfriend, Regina. You hadn't been paying much attention to the time, and suddenly, you realized that your curfew had slipped your mind.
"Oh my god!" You frantically rise to your feet, grabbing your phone from the couch beside you. "Regina, I have to get home."
She remains leaned back on the couch, smiling up at you. She doesn't respond.
"What?" You ask, putting your hand on your hip in irritation.
You knew if you didn't get home soon, you'd be grounded big time. Even though your parents were gone, they'd still find a way to bust you. Regina didn't understand what it was like to have strict parents.
"You're just so cute when you're mad," she giggles slightly, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I know, I know, I'll drive you, chill out," she rolls her eyes, pushing herself up and flickering off the tv.
You sigh. "Thank you."
"Wait, aren't your parents gone for the weekend?" She asks with furrowed eyebrows, pausing instantly.
You cringe. "Yeah, why?"
You watch as she falls back down on the couch, shrugging her shoulders. "Then just stay here."
"I don't have anything to wear," you argue.
You knew that was a stupid response, but really, you knew deep down that it was out of the question.
"You can borrow some of my clothes," Regina suggests.
You bite your lip, considering this.
"Please," she begs.
You eventually give in. It's not like it's going to matter, since no one would know except the two of you. And, in the back of your mind, you knew it would be really fun.
"Yay!" She exclaims, pulling you down on the couch by your waist and kissing your forehead lightly.
"I love you," she whispers as she swiftly throws you off of her and darts down the hallway to her bedroom.
Regina returns thirty seconds later holding a plain pink t-shirt and the biggest smile in the world.
"Awe," you say without meaning to.
"Put it on," she urges, handing it to you.
"What, here?" You ask.
She nods quickly.
"No!" You refuse, standing up and walking to the bathroom as she groans behind you.
She complains from the other side of the door as you shut it in her face. However, she completely shuts up when you swing the door open moments later.
Her big blue eyes become even bigger, her squared jaw dropping slightly. "Woah."
You giggle. "You like it?"
She nods without hesitation. "You look really good in my clothes," she winks. "How would you feel about a few cuddles?"
"You didn't think you'd stay over you'd get by without snuggles, did you, Y/N? I mean, get real. I call you cuddlebug."
"Please," you scoff.
Regina slips her arm under your knees and the other around your back, picking you up quickly as she carries you into the living room, throws the blanket over the two of you, and nuzzles her head into your neck.
"I love you," she says again, "just making sure you know that."
You laugh under your breath. "Thank you and I love you too."
