Sonic characters rewrite

Rewriting: Chris Thorndyke

Okay, so I'll start with this underrated little fella.

Why is he hated:

So from the all of the review vids I got, it says that he's a rich spoiled brat who's obsessed with Sonic, he barely does anything in the first 2 seasons, and he always screams and whines for Sonic's help, even though it became crystal clear that he can fight in season 3, and he's a Sora from Kingdom Hearts Rip-off.

Okay, so the shorten terms up, he's annoying. I mean, I never really minded the character, because I didn't properly watched the anime, because I want my project to be as original as possible, I'm sure you'll understand. Anyway, summarizing: he's a poorly written Sora, to say the least. Now that the bad stuffs outta the way, rewriting time!

Backstory:
Christopher Thorndyke is similar to his original counterpart in his young age, working parents, became afraid of being alone, yatta yatta yatta, but unlike his younger counterpart, he was also the childhood friend of Tom and Maddie.

Chris used to somewhat be a little bratty and whiny when he is unable to be with his friends or family and wanting to keep them for himself, but even though with this attitude sometimes, Tom, Maddie, Danny, Frances and Helen stay by his side because they know that he simply doesn't want to be alone.

Chris was always bullied at school for being the rich kid, while Tom would always get into fights with bullies because of that. However, everything the bullies did was nothing compared to what he faced in the Metarex Era with Sonic and his friends, where he got his few but serious looking scars on his right hand and somewhere in his head and foot, in which he later reveals when the bullies grabbed his hand.

The Metarex Era also changed Chris a lot, making him realize that nothing can be with him forever, maturing him into a person who cherishes life in a normal and non-obsessive way, making him want to live all he can and be with his friends and family as much as possible, and hold on to the memories of the loved ones he lost with care.

Wishing nothing more than to live a normal life, Chris and Helen get married, moved to Green Hills with her to live a simple life in a simple house, have simple science jobs and had two children: Samuel "Sam" and Megan "Meg" Thorndyke.

Personality:
Chris became from an obsessive and annoying wealthy kid to a hardworking and life cherishing simple loving family man who would always stop work to give attention to his two children; his older son Samuel, a 12 year old who has an affection to nature and machinery, and his younger daughter Megan, a 6 year old who has total color blindness who loves science and astrology.

I used Chris and Helen's base to do them.

He is also the first one to recognize Nikki as "The Child" he and his friends saw (ain't telling you nothing about the project cuz I ain't want no spoilers 😝) and he also took part on helping calm down Nikki when he went on a savage rampage with his lifelong bully.

Potential:
I decided to make him a hacker who hacks onto Eggman's computer and is always able to escape before he is caught, making him able to help the team get ready for the next robot attack and inform the Freedom Fighters the robot's weakness, by installing a mini camera on the groups clothes and/or glasses, which helps the group to study themselves and learn their attacks.

He can also pilot the Hyper Tornado, a airspace made by his late grandfather, which helps him to assist the group by shooting power ups and activating the Ring Tunnel, I've decided to add the fact that he taught his kids how to ride planes, and told them that they (himself included) will not use it unless it's absolutely necessary, to make him a competent character who will come out of his hiding hole in the face of danger when needed.

To me, I think it gives him a more helpful persona than the original one, he is able to help in any way needed.

Design:
Now, the design. Like I said before, he is a Sora ripoff, so it's not surprising that his outfit is similar in some way with Sora's.

So to make things more interesting, I'm keeping his adult design, which looks a lot less like Sora, and I will keep some things, like that visors, which in my opinion, is really cool, and he will use them when tracking chaos emerald shards and/or while riding the Hyper Tornado.
