(THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER)
⚠️ TW: mental hospital, hospital, panic, mention of suicide attempt, suicidal thoughts, psych ward ⚠️
I think that's all of them, please comment if I missed any! Enjoy! :)
'Can you three... come outside? There is something we need to discuss...' Eret said softly.
The others nodded slowly, following him out into the halls.
Eret closed his eyes for a second, contemplating her reply. They took a deep breath, before saying,
'So uh... I don't quite know how to say this, and I'm so sorry for my wording here, but I'm sure you three have noticed there is something... seriously wrong with him... right...?'
They looked at their feet, Tubbo nodding sadly.
'We all have a feeling on.. why he was found.. at that bridge...?' Another nod.
'Would you three understand me if I said that he... really needs some sort of help, and soon...?' A sigh, followed by one last nod.
'Me and my colleges have talked a bit about it already, and I really don't know how to say this, but the only way to solve this would be to... uh... keep him here... for a while-' The three finally looked up.
'What...?' Tommy looked speechless, panic finally coming over all of them.
'You mean... admit him to a... a mental hospital...?' George looked at him, disbelief written on his features.
Tubbo just burst into tears, crying into Tommy's shoulder, who hugged him comfortingly. He himself looked close to tears.
'Yes.. we're so sorry, I'm sure you understand, he's a threat to himself. This time was just luck that we found him. Next time you might not be as lucky...'
The three did see the point in this statement, it was just so... scary...
'I understand your situation, this is a very common reaction, don't worry. He'll be in good hands. You can visit him at least once a week.' Eret said kindly, trying to reassure them.
She'd had to do this a million times by now, but despite being used to it, the looks the people's relatives gave him never failed to break them.
Tubbo sucked in a breath, and shut his eyes, nodding in understanding.
'I'll give you four time to say goodbye, he can go home to get his things packed up. We have a room ready for him already, you should probably be able to do that by...' They looked down at their watch.
'5 o'clock...?'
'Yeah, yeah, we can... thank you...' George said, and Eret nodded, letting them walk in to see the boy.
'Ranboo...? Did you understand any of that...?'
But there was no need to ask, it was obvious that he had, even though they were trying to keep their voices down.
He seemed to be just slightly more aware than before, he recognised the things around him, and understood what people said to him for the most part.
He nodded, though he still didn't seem to really register what all of this meant. He would though, soon.
'It's time to go home Ranboo. We need to pack your stuff...' Tommy said sadly.
Ranboo nodded, still looking rather disoriented.
He stood up, being gently led out of the room by Tubbo, who held his arm to guide him to the door.

After about 3 hours, the four of them were back at the hospital, with the minimal amount of things that Ranboo owned packed into a large backpack.
When they finally said goodbye to the boy, George, Tommy and Tubbo left to go home, while Eret lead a silent Ranboo to his new room.
As soon as he entered, Ranboo straight away noticed that this place wasn't built with the intention to house the queen, but it was a hospital. What could you expect?
The room was small, with plain white walls, and a small bed in one corner, with a desk in the other, along with a wardrobe and some shelves.
There was a normal sized window above the desk, but it had bars secured on it, probably to prevent him from jumping out.
In all honesty though, it could be worse.
The real bad thing for Ranboo would be trying to cope with the thought that this is what his life had come to.
He was so crazy that his friends had to resort to sending him to a psych ward.
He didn't really blame them though, they had their reasons, all valid.
He was sure that he'd only feel even worse in this place than at home, but there was nothing he could do about it.
He knew that even here, Dream just wouldn't leave him a moment of peace.
Maybe one day he'd find a way to end it, for real this time.
But for now he obviously saw that there was no chance for him to do that, they'd be keeping too close of an eye on him.
Instead he just sat there, a single tear finding it's way down his cheek.
Why couldn't life just be normal? What did he do to deserve this...?
He sighed, coming back to his senses. He couldn't stay like this forever, Eret would be coming to check on him soon, and he didn't want to be seen like this.
He sat up slowly, going back to gazing at the plain white walls of the psych ward which was now his home.
