Patrick POV

"Who did you just call?" Pete questions me suspiciously, "we don't need help. We got this. You know that right? How could you trust us to prove that we can handle these vampires ourselves."

Pete looks me straight in the eyes and I tell him, "because Pete and we got our asses kicked by those vampires. And the person I called can help us just trust me on this one." I hope he trusts me. "We've got until 2 o'clock until my friend comes. She is driving up from Cincinnati so it would take her a little bit. So let's get some sleep okay?" I advice the team and head to my room.

I open the door and enter a rather large room full of music memorabilia, including many posters of Prince and David Bowie. A full size bed lay in the corner, while a dresser lay across from it. A desk lay in the corner next to the door, was overflowing with overdue library books and papers scattered on top. I lay on my bed and set my alarm for noon. And soon fall into dreamless sleep.

1:00

I wake to hear my alarm and that annoying beeping noise this. I look at my clock, oh shit its 1 o'clock, I quickly get up and take a shower. I jump out, hands flying, and shove my clothes on. I look at the time, oh hell yeah 1:24, thirty six minutes left. I do a fist pump and run out to get something to eat. "Awwww is little Patrick up. Dude seriously you shouldn't sleep through your alarm like that. It woke us all up," Pete exclaimed grinning.

"At least I don't wear make up. Dude seriously you look like a teenage girl with that on," I retort. That gained a couple of "ooooos" from Joe and Andy. Suddenly there was a bang on the door and everyone jumped.

"I'll get it!" I exclaimed jumping out of my seat and falling on the floor.

"Oh Patrick at least I am not as clumsy as you are. I mean seriously 'Trick you are going to hurt yourself," Pete told me, grinning because he knew he won that round, but I will get him back later.

I opened the door to see a smiling figure standing there, "Trick it's so good to see you!" I am pulled into a tight bear hug, "how long has it been six years?"

I smile back, "Rey how right you are six years, since the oh never mind how are you?"

Pete's POV

As Patrick runs to get the door I finish my drink and go to see who it is. To my surprise it's a woman about Patrick's age with short dark brown with blonde tipped hair tucked under a well worn Chicago Blackhawks hat from 1996. And a Fender guitar strapped to her back. I listen in on their conversation, and find out her name is Rey. I don't really seem to like her so far but that could change.

Patrick's POV

"Well come on in," I motioned her in, but instead she gave me a hug.

"It's so good to see you, Trick after all these years I hope you found some other friends," Rey said, but it was broken up with Pete giving a cough behind me.

"Hey Gadget Guy!" Andy yelled smirking, "who's your girlfriend?"

Rey kind of blushed saying, "looks like you still are the gadget guy Patrick."

I smirked remembering our time together. "Oh yes let me introduce you to my team, the one who called you my girlfriend is Andy, while the guy with the curly hair is Joe," as I tell her, Rey says hello to both of them. I finally turn my attention to Pete, "and this is Pete," Rey waves at him, and he just glares, "everyone this is Reyna Frazier. She is an old friend of mine and she will be helping us out with the vampires that run through this city," I informed the team. Joe and Andy just smiled, but Pete did not seem amused.

"Can we help you with unpacking?" I ask trying to get some alone time to talk with her.

"No I think I got it, but thanks though 'Trick," Rey says and walks out whistling, Beat It by Michael Jackson, as she went. I head out to help her unpack as do the other guys, except Pete who just glares at her.
